Vid vårt besök i Cartagena valde vi att hyra en nyrenoverad lägenhet med tillgång till egen parkering. När vi väl letat oss fram möttes vi av en trevlig tjej som visade vägen till P-huset (på spanskt vis smalt och trångt) och gav bra information om vår vistelse i lägenheten (och tips på sevärdheter och restauranger). Läget var det inget fel på, bara en kort promenad till Calle Major och med flera restauranger och caféer på nära håll. Lägenheten var också bra, nyrenoverad med hiss, TV med spanska kanaler, en effektiv AC/inverter, ett bra kök, en trevlig liten balkong mot gatan, ett godkänt badrum och det mesta av allt som behövs. Men det fanns också skönhetsfel; läslampor saknades vid både säng och soffa, lampan över spisen var inte inkopplad och wifi:n var lite svajig. Arean på lägenheten uppgavs till 58 m2, men det måste ha varit mätt på husets yttermått. Sängen (och även täcket) var på gränsen till för smal för två personer och emellanåt luktade det avlopp från badrummet. This studio apartment was immaculate, and contained all you need for a few days city break. There is a roof terrace containing table, chairs and sun loungers. Although on the fourth floor, there is a lift. The apartment is within walking distance of everything you will want to see. Bars and restaurants around the corner, Roman Theatre, Cathedral, Conception Castle, Tottes Park, Barrio del Foro Romano, and the marina…to name a few. A special mention to Paola, from ApartmantsCartagenaSpain.com. Paola made sure we had directions to the carpark, where she greeted us, and escorted us the 2-minute walk to the apartment, not leaving us until were inside and acquainted with the location. Paola made the whole check in procedure so easy.

Stayed just one night, but found it very good value for money. Complete studio with double bed, couch and TV cabinet, small foldable table, complete kitchenette (so you can cook your own meal if wanting to do so), small bathroom (shower cabin, sink) with washing machine. Very clean, quiet during night, and excellent location (close to forum romanum). Unless you have to have a high class hotel room, this is more than good value for the price.
