Small, cheap and nice hotel on the edge of the gay neighborhood Chueca. Clean and nice rooms with airco. The beds are good but rather short and small. Had breakfast included in a bar nearby. breakfast is typically Spanish. I definitely will stay here again!
I enjoyed my stay here. It is close to the Metro and Puerto del Sol, and lots of shops and restaurants. I found the hotel quiet, except for street noise on a Thursday night. The housekeeping woman is very friendly and helpful, but knowing some...More
Rooms (especially bathrooms) are small, but well equipped (even there is a desktop in the room). No receptionist, so you need to be individual. Great location, in the heart of Chueca, gay district. This also means that it is a bit noisy, but that is...More

Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses
here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
