DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! IT'S CLOSED AND HAS BEEN FOR MONTHS. We arrived at 10.30 pm after a €24 taxi ride and was dropped outside the front doors. The taxi drove off and we then found it was closed. The hotel is in a very rough area and the bars were turning out with drunken guys. A small note on the door told us to walk to the Tach hotel, 10 minutes walk away. So they took the booking, took our money and then sent us to a very poor hotel by another taxi ride. The total taxi bill for a hotel "minutes" from the airport was €35. By the time we got to the Tach hotel we had to rush to the bar to ensure we could get some food. Disgusting and dishonest. Hotels.Com should also be ashamed.
We stayed in Clemente Barajas in January 2020. Very convenient shuttle service and definitely recommend to eat in their restaurant. The food is superb. The calmares was exquisite ( we live on the Costa del Sol and we don’t have such tender calmares) and the octopus was delicious as well as the ox tail. The cheese cake is to die for. You get your free drink of wine and in the minibar free juice, coke and 2 bottles of water. This is very good value for money. Defensively recommend this hotel.
I had a phenomenal experience at Clements Barajas. I'm not one to typically write reviews; however, I found the service so outstanding it is worth noting. The staff were incredibly friendly and the Urban Bistro restaurant had great food and very sociable servers. The minibar was free in the room and the bathroom was fully stocked (much appreciated!). The airport shuttle made it so easy to come/go to our flights. Cannot say enough good things and will certainly be staying again!
Great option for one night in between flights. Not sure if this is a 4 stars hotel but very nice lobby, bar and breakfast space. Big room, clean and more than well equipped. Room was not so quiet as I asked, a lot of noise from the street, not good isolated from noise and windows didn’t had the traditional Spanish “persianas” so good for noise and temperature purposes. Very good menu, excellent I would say, considering they do not have a proper restaurant, good enough to have a nice dinner arriving at 10 pm. Fantastic they offer a free glass of wine (red or white) or a soda so at least one drink for dinner is free of charge. Very good free wifi. Very attentive service. Free transportation from and to Barajas airport. Great option. Not the more fabulous option there but very good and a great, great value for money.…
This hotel was just simply perfect. I cannot fault anything. I stayed there twice within a week, both times for 1 night, and therefore made good use of their airport transfer service - which is easy to use. It's as easy as calling the hotel once you get outside (where all the taxis are) and then they'll pick you up (they call you and double check that you are on the bus before leaving which is great!). Everybody in the hotel speaks great English and are all very friendly - they think you are Spanish though which is always funny to me. Barajas is a busy town. There are supermarkets and restaurants within a few minutes walk from the hotel. There's also a McDonald's with self-service machines just down the road. There's no reason to not book this place. You are supplied with almost everything you can think of. If you've forgotten something, there's a high chance you've already got it waiting for you in the room. Plus, they have a free minibar and English/Spanish language television. I would definitely stay here again in the future. I loved this place.…
