Nice and were central located hotel which is not too expensive! Small coffee shop for breakfast and Starbucks right across the street. Rooms are fine and tidy, avoid street view as its loud over the weekend

The rooms are on the small side, but that is expected of European boutique hotels. We stayed on the 3rd floor away from the street so it was very quiet. However, the high rating is reserved for the staff. The customer service was impeccable and they were so accommodating by allowing us to check in hours early. Great experience!

This hotel has 4 stars, but I would give it 3 stars max, as it's very outdated. The bed and pillows are uncomfortable and the shower head didn't stay in place with high water pressure. The hair dryer was the worst I've seen at a hotel, it took a while to make it blow air as the foils inside would... More

Staying in Chueca

Neighbourhood Profile
Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.

“Every was great. The only thing is the first two days the AC was not turned on due to the transition from cold weather to hot but we had the balcony door opened and it was cold. The only problem is the noise you get from the street. LIke I said this was the first 2 days after that it was all good. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back.”
