The location is great. The hotel is in a really nice area and is only a few minutes from several Metro stations. The Metro is easy to use. You can buy a 10 journey pass or buy individual trips. There are other options available. You are also close to stops on both routes on the sight seeing tour (the red... More

Stayed for three nights on a combo business/pleasure trip. The location was excellent for both purposes as every place we visited were easily accessible either on foot or by Metro. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room was of good size with a small but functional bathroom with a nice shower. The only negative was that it was... More

Stayed here for a four day visit to Madrid, a city break to explore Madrid. Arrived just before 22.00 easy check in , then lift to room, opened door and instantly pleased. Good size , neutral pleasing decor, comfy bed, bathroom had a bath! Small but oh so welcome after 30,000 + steps a day exploring the city. Breakfast not... More

For the price you pay, you get a boutique hotel right in the central of the business district and a short walking distance to the metro. The neighbourhood is also quiet and highly secured. The staff at the hotel is friendly and very helpful. Room is generally clean but small. They have small kitchen in the room, which can be... More

A true boutique hotel with pretty much everything you need for an enjoyable stay in Madrid. A short walk from the Colon Metro, and the Plaza de Colon, and a doable walk from all the main attractions. Comes with a kitchenette and a safe and there is even a bidet in the bathroom. The sofa in the room is strangely... More

I liked the hotel. Staff were very kind and professional. The room spacious and the bed very comfortable. Very clean. You might want to know that rooms facing to the back have no view at all, but if you dont care, then it will be perfectly OK. The WiFi signal was weak inside the room. This was the only thing I... This is a great hotel in a lovely quiet location but so close to everything, rooms spotless with a small kitchen in the room. Staying in Chamberi

Neighbourhood Profile
Chamberi
Multi-story residential buildings decorated with ornate balconies line the traditional, quiet, and pretty streets of Chamberí. Humble storefronts and neighbourhood taverns are scattered across the lower levels down every block, and here and there, there's a cluster of tables on the sidewalk. It isn't ever crowded, but people are always out, poking into the tiny bakeries, hardware stores, and tobacco shops, or ducking into a bright, unadorned cerveceria to have a coffee or beer by the bar, flip through the paper, and check the sports score. The round Plaza Olavide, where the fairly regular network of streets breaks form, is among the most green and lively spots. Restaurants line its circumference and sought-after outdoor tables fill the center of the plaza, where people relax to the sounds of kids playing and street musicians' tunes.
