I travel every week for work in France, Spain and Sweden and this hotel doesn't deserve 4*. The room is dirty and the service very limited. I would not recommend it for a business trip as the wifi is not working properly in the rooms. Speaking Spanish is almost a must if you wish to get some help from the...

We had a really comfortable superior room here and the bed was excellent. The staff were very helpful when we needed advice or bookings made and the location was in the middle of everything. We walked to the shopping street, to the parks and to the many great Tapas restaurants and roof top bars that are very close.

The hotel's location is very good. You can reach everywhere in a short time bu walking. And breakfeast is so delicious and various but most of rooms do not have any landscape rather than wall or wall. But you can choose this hotel just fır location and breakfeast.

Great hotel for a short stay. We had a decent triple room on floor 8. The only issue was the a/c in the room. We did not manage to keep it cool during the night without running the a/c at night. Breakfast was a feast, very well done! Friendly staff in b'fast, bar and reception team.

Really helpful staff and very clear labeling of food and an excellent range of gluten free products. Excellent location very close to the Prado museum and easily walkable to all central areas. Bedroom was quite small but this is typical of a central Madrid hotel

We booked a triple room for my husband, my daughter and me. Location is very central for food and different attraction. They claim to be 4 star but I think it's a 3 star hotel. Breakfast is really average. Everything is just plain. They may have cooked the food too early in the morning so when we had breakfast at...

Came here at nearly midnight after an awful Airbnb experience. They couldn't have been more accommodating at that hour and were extremely helpful the rest of our stay. Lovely room, great location. We did not choose to have breakfast there, so I cannot comment on that. Perfect for being close to the lively neighborhood of Chueca, but quieter. An easy...

The location of the hotel was ideal, very close to the centre of the city but in a quiet area. The staff were very friendly and eager to help. The rooms were well equipped and comfortable although compact as European hotels tend to be. There was no view but the window could be opened for fresh air. The bar area...

Basically, location is the only plus for this hotel. There was a constant and hideous smell of perfume in the lobby -- really offensive. No coffee make in room (and no coffee service in lobby). There was also a lot of street noise at night, most from trucks dealing with garbage.

What I like : The location near the metro station and Gran Via Street. The Staff were professional. I really like the Breakfast. It has many to choose from. The room was spacious an so CLEAN. The beds were so comfortable. What I don't like was the noise from the outside street.

Staying in Paseo del Prado

Neighbourhood Profile
Paseo del Prado
The area around the elegant Paseo del Prado boulevard is much-visited by both locals and tourists. The world-famous Prado, the Reina Sofia, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza museums form a triangle of art and culture that spans this grand and beautiful avenue. On weekdays, the Prado Museum opens its doors for free after-work hours, drawing a diverse and excited queue of art lovers that wraps around the block. Palacio de Cibeles and Círculo de Bellas Artes cultural centers are other artsy hangouts to check out, with rooftop bars that provide impressive views of the city. While the Paseo del Prado and its roundabouts form a busy throughway in Madrid, a broad green pedestrian park in the middle is a calm and gorgeous place for a relaxing stroll. Just east of the museums, the Retiro Park is always a confluence of activity as families and friends of all ages take to the pretty paths and lawns to stretch their legs or to have a picnic.
