I fell in love with this hotel by looking at the pictures at different sites. And I didn't get disappointed. The hotel was very nice, the rooms spacious and the staff welcoming. I couldn’t wish for anything else.

We recently stayed here for four nights and it was great. The staff is very friendly, the hotel is modern yet cosy, and the location is perfect for a citytrip. It's close to the Gran Via, one of the main roads, with a metro stop at just 200 m. but far enough not to be bothered by the noise. You...

Our stay at 7 Islas could not have been better.... perfect location to explore the taparias & cervejarias of Malasaña... All the staff were really helpful & friendly and the hotel has a superb feel & the deco is minimalist & VERY cool. Just across the road from Grand Via metro station so easy access to and from airport. HIGHLY...

Very clean, modern and architecturaly designed hotel. Stayed for 4 nights during easter. Penthouse suites with veranda was gorgeous overlooking the rooftops of Madrid. Could not fault this hotel. The staff very friendly and helpful. Situated a stones throw away from the Gran Via metro station down a quiet little street. Will definitely stay again when in Madrid.

The hotel is placed centrally in Madrid and we were happy with the size and amenities of the room including free mini bar. Only negative - the walls are fairly thin so we could hear everything going on next door (which unfortunately was a lot of taking throughout the night).

Really great hotel. The loby designed in a new, chic and cool way. The room was really spacy, well decorated. Also the breakfast was pretty good. The cost for the breakfast was 10.5 € per breakfast or 7.5 € if we take it for the rest of our stay. We've had to check out before the the breakfast at our...

I arrived from the Melia Avenida America to this hotel. I had to walk with my suitcases cause there were some works on the Gran Via street and the taxi couldn't enter the Valverde street, anyways no big deal. This gave me the option to review also the location better. This hotel really disappointed me, the room was not what...

Staying in Malasana

Neighbourhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighbourhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
