The selection and quality of the breakfast considering is price of Euro 10 is very poor. Rooms are spacious and clean but the air condition seems to blow cold instead of hot air out at most times. Location ok and short walk to La Latina.

Average service and room quality in a great and central location. Very clean room but cold (during our winter visit). We didn't really enjoy our sleeping because the a/c that was working all night to warm the room was just making noise, not warming. Breakfast quality was also average in you have in mind all the nice and fresh food...

Having had issues with the booking for our original hotel, me and a friend were searching for alternative, relatively cheap but well located accommodation in Madrid - and this more than fitted the bill. I stayed with a friend in October 2016, it being our first time in Madrid. We arrived one evening to a warm welcome from the reception...

I cannot fault this hotel. At 65 euros inc breakfast. It is 10 min walk from the centre 2 mins from metro and has a market around the corner. Breakfast is 7/10 room 8.5/10 and Wi-Fi is good. Overall For the price 9/10

Hotel is very quiet. It is located close to the metro and a bus stop. The hotel room was clean and very cozy. The hotel had breakfast and there was a variety to choose from. They also had a lot of seating available to sit and eat breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked questions.

I went with a party of guests and was set aback by the Christmas decorations over the entrances that looked like barbed wire. Staying in La Latina

Neighbourhood Profile
La Latina
La Latina is a charming neighbourhood with two unique personalities. At first glance, it’s distinctly old-world, with narrow streets weaving a maze among charming stone buildings in sunny, bright colors like yellow and pink. The other side of La Latina is characterized by a young population and a bohemian vibe, as evidenced by a dynamic and evolving selection of new bars, shops, coworking spaces, and other businesses popping up in the area. In the northern part of the neighbourhood, the Cava Alta and Cava Baja streets constitute the tapas center of Madrid, where each age-old restaurant serves up distinctive specialties like huevos rotos and patatas bravas. Locals have come here for generations to while away hours over drinks and tapas with friends. On Sundays and public holidays, the streets to the south of La Latina metro station transform into a giant open-air market full of locals sifting through tent after tent of art, apparel, and antiques. Any day of the week, the intriguing blend of the traditional and the hip make the streets of La Latina worth exploring.
