A good hotel at very reasonable prices is to be found at the Espahotel Plaza Basilica.Excellent facilities and a spotlessly clean apartment made for a very pleasant and comfortable stay for two days. What an advantage to have a kitchenette with utensils for making drinks and meals if needed! A short walk to the underground and to the Bernabeu Stadium makes...

I spent 3 nights at this hotel in mid October 2016, and it was fantastic. The staff were fairly friendly (not all spoke English), the room was really big (we stayed in a studio) and the location was perfect. Minutes away from one of the biggest shopping centres in the country, the beautiful Santiago Bernabeu stadium and a main metro...

We spent 4 nights at this hotel in the 2nd week of September. Not sure what to call it, because we booked it as a timeshare exchange through Royal Holiday, who called it Apartmentos Plaza Basilica. Either way, we had a very good stay! We had room 102 on the 1st floor. There were 2 small elevators, but we mostly...

The hotel is really clean with friendly, english speaking staff. Metro lines are ~10 minutes on foot. It is a smoking hotel, sometimes you can smell it, mostly on the corridors, but it is not too discomforting. We were updated to a suite instead of a studio because of a full house, which was a nice touch, so thank you!...

This is a small hotel in a great neighborhood. Walking down the street, we were the only tourists in this neighborhood, which is walking distance to the metro station Cuatro Caminos. We had a very nice room (suite) with a small kitchenette. There are many restaurants on Calle Orense, and the major department store, El Corte Ingles, is just a...

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights in June. The apartments were so clean and had lots of room. What we loved was the little kitchenette added on to the rooms it was handy for getting breakfast in the mornings and snacks before we would head out for dinner! Location is also great it is about a 5minute...

Stayed here for 2 nights, prior to volunteering as an English coach. When I checked-in, I was upgraded to a suite. Very nice! The rooms were clean and the internet was great. The kitchenette was tiny but functional. The staff were friendly and efficient. Great transport links to the city centre too.

We have family in Madrid so visit quite often and for longer stays this is perfect. Works out cheap long term. Small kitchen which has most things you need which is perfect for longer stays if you get bored of eating out. Not the most modern but very clean. Wifi works okay. Staff at reception are very friendly and remember...

Short review. Fo the whole stay of 3 weeks internet never worked on acceptable level. Never consider this hotel if you need internet for work or leisure. Owner squeezes as much as possible out of old and smelly hotel without a minimum investing. Good for those who want to cook. Good location to reach any point in Madrid.

We only stayed here for one night, two friends visiting another friend and being honest, I didn't expect much as the rate was such good value. But I was really pleasantly surprised..it was quiet, clean and friendly and in a very nice part of town with a good/bar restaurant across the street and a taxi rank across the street. And...
