Location, Location! The location is really good, in the centre of Madrid and next to Prado/Sol and very easy to reach. Also nice ways to go to Cuenca! Nevertheless, I regrettably had some issues with this hotel as an frequent traveller. In the room (502) I heard all the noises from the other guests in other rooms, as the walls are not sound proof made like in other hotels, also there was some strange smell like toilet/old I don’t know what it was, but it led me to enquire on reception and they told me able to change rooms, Once I was offered and entered another 2 rooms, I smelled the same strangeness so I decided to remain in my noisy/smelly hotel room as it was just for the night anyway. Breakfast area does not seems particularly appealing towards me, too much green, the price 54 EUR was good, though I would doubt if I stay here again actually.

Stayed here last night 08/12/20 The hotel is quite a basic Ibis but with a few luxuries and touches which make this hotel a pleasant stay on a budget, €50 more or less per night and €4-€5 extra for an express breakfast which was perfect for an early start It's not just about the hotel and what it looks like and how it is finished its about the people that deliver that service and I have to say that I was really impressed by the receptionist. I checked in at around 12 at night and left just before 7am to catch at train to Malaga: the same receptionist check me in and out as she was doing the night shift. "Andrea" i think her name was on her name badge: I thought she was exceptional. I stay in hotels around 100 night per year and for me the service that I experienced here was excellent.........Thank you Andrea (Muchas Gracias Andrea)..........(Review by Andrew Mathews Viva Gym Spain) I hope to return soon

If we are satisfied with the price, we like to stay in hotels of the IBIS chain in Spain, France. They are well located, with a beautiful minimalist design and typical room layout, so you initially know where everything is. All this applies to the IBIS in Madrid. It is perfectly located 15 minutes walk from Atocha train station where we left. We checked in very late and left early enough, so we didn't order Breakfast. Photo of the room is two-year-old, now restyled.

We had a great getaway at this hotel. Fantastic value in the heat of the city. The breakfast was delivered to our room as part of the Covid response. It was excellent value and well presented. We would stay here again.
