The staff was so helpful and happy. The location was perfect for museums, shopping, restaurants/cafes, and night life! We walked everywhere, day and night. The rooms were super clean and very modern. It was such a great experience and price that I hesitate to share this hotel.

My friend and I had 2 separate rooms, and they were both very large and comfortable. There is no lobby to sit in or breakfast room, but they deliver a very nice breakfast to your room. The croissants were the best we had in Spain. The reception is very helpful, and we felt as though they responded right away to...

Great reception staff. Friendly and speaks and understands English. Located 10 min away from Prado Museum, Retiro Park, Plaza Mayor, Mercato San Miguel, and a few more from Royal Palace. Close to several good restaurants. Hotel is cute, but if you are a light sleeper, the noise from either the other rooms or outside the hotel may bother you until...

This hotel is quite close to major sites, and on a street with some very good restaurants. We almost stayed closer to Plaza del Sol, so glad we did not. This hotel is only a 5 minutes walk from the Plaza. The staff is very friendly speaking, thankfully, English. The rooms are very spacious, as is the bathroom. It is...

This hotel enjoys the perfect location, it is in walking distance from all the main museums, it is only a few steps away from great restaurants and bars and it is easily accessible by public transport as well, if you feel the urge to widen your explorations. The room was basically a small apartment, very spacious with a sleeping area...

This hotel offers good value. There is 24-hour reception, and both of them were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are big, and the bed comfortable. Wifi works perfectly, and they will help you print your boarding pass. The entire place is clean. Not much view, but for the price this is fine. Location is central.

Great little find in Madrid, close to some great restaurants too. Only thing that stops it being a 5 is the hot water situation. You get a 100l tank per room and a single shower takes most of that. Then it starts filling with cold water and what left goes warm until it all heats up again. It's supposed to...

This facility is located in the center of Madrid, very close to Anton Martin and Peurta del Sol. Easy access to Madrid's transportation system. Very quiet and large rooms furnished with kitchen equipment. Breakfast is delivered to the room. It has its pros and cons. I found enough pros in it. Do not forget to negotiate the time of breakfast...

I was in Madrid and needed to be in the old city center. This hotel is walking distance from Puerto del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, Prado Museum, and Thyssen Bornemisza, Museo de Jamon and Parque Retiro. For the price I paid, I got a suite separate bedroom from living room, a large bathroom with bidet and free...

We stayed over a weekend just before Christmas. The rooms were clean and fresh but we had some issues with the warm water running out on one evening. Our neighbouring room housed a family which we could hear a bit too clearly through the walls. The kitchenette didn't get too much use but it was great to have the option...

First of all thank you for your confidence and your time with us. The rooms have triple climalit and walls of approximately 30 centimeters. We always try to maintain order both inside and outside our establishment to improve the rest and comfort of our customers. We hope the rest of the services were pleasant and we hope to see you...

Staying in Huertas

Neighbourhood Profile
Huertas
Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighbourhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center — side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighbourhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.
