I stayed at this hotel for four nights. The hotel and the room itself were quite spacious. Lots of hotels in Spain offer rooms the size of a closet, so Melia Barajas looked great from this respect. I found the interiors to be somewhat worn out and needing to be refreshed. Also maintenance could be better. In my room both...

Although we were only here for 12 hours it was a lousy hotel. The room smelled like poo and it was really ugly. Time for a total renovation. Next time I will stay in a American hotel. This one had the aire of a Russian Truckstop. Bed was very hard. Positive thing is the room was big. We had a...

Conveniently located close to Madrid airport, public transport access to the city centre and an excellent breakfast make this a really good place to stay. The hotel is overall a little bit dated but the quality and overall feel is very good. The rooms I stayed in were clean and comfortable. The bathroom has a shower cabinet as well as...

The first impression you get about the hotel is positive as the decor is modern, the space is looked after and the rooms are average and clean. But the real drama is when you have to deal with the staff: reception staff is cold, room service staff (when they pick up the phone) doesn't speak english and even when you...

I stayed for one night only as this hotel is close to Barajas airport. Location, for this reason is good. My room was very large but I arrived to a broken lamp. One lamp was completely cracked in half and someone perched the top piece on top of the bottom piece so when I tried to turn it on, half...

Iberia send us to this hotel because we missed our second flight as a result of a delay on the first flight. The hotel is ok, but not what you can expect for a 4 star hotel. On top of that, we ate our worst meal ever in Melia. All food in the buffet was cold just 15 min after...

This hotel was surprisingly modern. They have a great breakfast spread and reliable wifi. I found this location to be far superior to the the other Melia location in Madrid. Our room was very attractive and the airport shuttle was reliable.

Upon arrival at T-4, we had to wait 55 mins for the hotel transportation. Great location for a nights stay. Room was too hot and we had to open the window to cool it down. The bed was OK but the pillows were bad, more like air bags. Ordered room service. Quick service, the beef sandwich was nice, the club...

I stayed here for just one night -- I had an early flight and wanted to be near the airport, so in many ways this hotel was much more luxurious than I needed, but I'm certainly not complaining about it. The rooms are huge, beds comfy, every amenity you can think of is provided. The large bathroom had both a...

The hotel is great for a one night stop over, I cannot say whether it would be good for longer if you were travelling into Madrid. The trip from the airport terminals is easy, just call up and the bus comes to collect you from your terminal. The rooms are nice and spacious with a few little extras making a...
