This is a good Clean 3 Star Hotel; it is in the Perfect Location. Walking distance to Plaza Mayer, Prado Museum, Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Puerta del Sol, etc etc. We walked to Cardamomo, the Flamenco tablao (Flamingo Dance) it was great. Next door to the Hotel is Ginger Restaurant (open 1:30 to 4:00) excellent food & atmosphere at a reasonable prices. Multiple places to eat or drink coffee We took Uber from the Airport, 18 Euros (Don't use Cabify)
Treated ‘Royally’ during COVID lockdown. The staff could not have done more for us. From wonderful breakfasts to tips on how to get a supertime meal (during COVID lockdown)...they catered to us as if ‘family’. We have been there three times now, and will NOT STAY ANYWHERE ELSE when in Madrid. They are in the PEOPLE business and know how to make you feel at hime in their Hotel. Best of luck to all the staff & families. You are in our thoughts at this time❤️❤️❤️ Patti & Johannes🇨🇦😷
Fantastic location. The hotel is very good, a good lobby to relax in, good wi fi ,friendly and very obliging staff. My room was very small but Madrid is such a wonderful city I did not spend much time there. I hope to stay there again in the future
Our stay was very good. The room was spacious and confortable. The bathroom was clean, we only had some trouble adjusting the water temperature. Breakfast was REALLY good :) it had plenty of options and it was delicious. Plus, the location is excellent and very well connected. Overall, it is a very nice place to stay.
I stayed here with a friend for four nights. The hotel is located in a little square near Sol metro station, so ideally situated for sightseeing. My room was a decent size for a nominal single and comfortable (very firm mattress, which I like). It was also fairly quiet, being at the back of the building. The hotel is better equipped than you might expect from its 2-star rating, notably including air conditioning. It is nicely decorated in a retro style - don't be surprised to meet a 1960s typewriter halfway up the stairs - and this combined with corridors and staircases disappearing off at all angles gives the whole place a charmingly quaint feel, even if it takes a little while to orient yourself. The breakfast was very good - plenty of choice and always well stocked. The staff were helpful and friendly, and looked as though they enjoyed their work. There are lots of places to eat and drink nearby. I would certainly stay here again.…
