Spent several nights at this hotel and was pretty pleased overall. The location is good, a fifteen minute walk or so to Plaza Mayor and central areas. Close enough to be accessible but also quiet. The room was nice...the bed was a little firmer than we like, but that is preference. The staff did their best to resolve by providing...

We are just happy to stay at such us location!!!! One of our preferred hotel chains is Radisson. We were never disappointed. Our favorite if you can ever go, pls go to Radisson Tuzla. The best ever ♡ Madrid is one of those style hotels, but is very nice. They call the breakfast, super breakfast, it's not. But if you...

We stayed here last week for 4 nights, using Club Carlson points. I got upgraded to a business room which basically gets you dressing gowns and a coffee maker. It didn’t have a desk however, so not really a business room in that dsense. Rooms are newly refurbished and very clean, although slightly small if you’re not used to Madrid...

Staff were helpful from the outset. Room was nice and quiet. We were going to use the massage at the spa but it was hugely overpriced at €80 instead we used one in the city for half that. Breakfast was mediocre and basic and at €17.50 was one of the most expensive I have come across. Go outside for breakfast...

Stayed in Madrid for 4 nights and was recommended this hotel by a friend. Keeping up to its promises, and more! It is located opposite to the city's most famous museum, the "Prado". Not directly on the Paseo de Prado, but around 50 Meters back in a cosy side street, thus not affected by the traffic noise. We had our...

We stayed here for four nights and were very spoiled to have been given the room that we were. We had booked a suite and ended up getting a huge one-bedroom flat that was overly large by European standards. It was simply decadent and a really nice surprise for us. We truly enjoyed our stay and it was only that...

Very nice hotel, literally across from the Prado Museum in Madrid. Request a room with a view otherwise you will may have no window or just looking in a shaft. Clean, friendly staff. Water and cups served in the lobby which is nice. Also easy walk to Atocha train station.

Wonderful location walking distance from Atocha Station, easy cab ride from airport. Lovely bar & restaurant at the front of the hotel and a couple of good cafes for breakfast close by. Prado is walking distance as are both Sophia Reina and Thyssen-Bornemisza museums. Lovely Prado gardens with a Crystal Palace. Would stay here again in a flash.

Radisson hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of Madrid, walking distance to the major museums, the Retiro park, Atocha station, etc, but also the historical centre is within reach. We rented bikes for all days, which proved to be for us the ideal way to get everywhere in Madrid. The hotel is very well equipped with all you need...

Straff was generally very friendly and helpful. Arriving late the first night I was assigned room 301 which was in my saying inhabitable! The room was extremely hot even though it was in the end of October. No matter how many times I complained the staff didn't seem to be able to lower the the temperature. When I opened the...

Staying in Huertas

Neighbourhood Profile
Huertas
Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighbourhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center — side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighbourhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.
