The room in the hostel was very small (expected), modern and clean. And, it comes with breakfast. The location is about as central as you can get. The issue does not have much to do with the hostel itself but the street noise. There seems a street party going on every night of the week -- lasting until at least 4 AM. Perhaps if they could quadruple glaze the windows it would help. So, if you are a party animal and expect to be out most of the night, this is a great place for you. If you need sleep after 11 pm or 12 am, pick a quieter street.

This hotel is very central within walking distance of virtually everything. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are small but clean and modern. Breakfast is continental but perfect for us. Nothing was too much trouble. A free safe, bottled water and shower gels etc were plentiful.

Room Tip: Rooms on the front can be a little noisy, but double glazing sorted that for me

Excellent hostel, right near all the main attractions. Spotlessly clean and very quiet. The rooms are smallish but great value for money considering it is right in the centre. Staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast is a bit quirky, self service continental in a kitchen style area. Gets a bit crowded if everyone goes down at the same time! Food was fresh and replenished regularly. A hidden gem, we would visit again.

Spent four nights here with eight girlfriends. It is on the third floor but there is a lift. The rooms are on the small size but adequate and very clean. The bathroom has a great shower, wash hand basin and loo. All very well presented and complimentary shower gel, a comb and makeup remover, as well as soap were left for our use. The aircon worked well and there is a safe deposit box for currency, passports, valuables etc. The breakfast room is tiny and can only fit about eight at a time. Several different teas were available, as well as coffee. In the fridge were a choice of milk, yogurt, ham and cold meats. Lots of fruit was left out as well as cereals, croissants and little cakes. There was a toaster and several choices of bread. It could get a little cramped in the kitchen but on the whole, it was fine. The hostal is well located for trips to the Prado, cathedral, royal palace and also for shopping. We loved staying here and the staff were very helpful with advice about trips etc. I would stay here again.

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights ( Monday to Thursday) early October. We didn’t arrive until 10.15pm and were really put off by the small side street, with lots of people hanging around close to the hostal. Luckily we were dropped off outside and found the hostal was on the 3rd floor, with others above and below. On entering the hostal through a secure doorway we were amazed to find a very stylish building. The manager was waiting for us and checked us in promptly, explaining the hostal keys etc and then showed us our room. All I can say is WOW! We shared a twin, not huge but adequate. En suite was modern, with hot hot water, hairdryer and a large shower. In the room was a safe(free), large TV not many English channels but not bothered. No wardrobe but hanging space and shelves provided. The twin beds were very comfortable and we had good nights sleep as couldn’t hear any noise from outside whatsoever. The air conditioning/ heating was excellent too. The room was cleaned daily and also towels replaced every day. The breakfast room was small but everything was there for you. Hot coffee, selection of teas and a kettle for boiling water. Fruit juices, cold drinking water, yoghurts, fresh fruit and the full continental breakfast was provides. The room was spotless as was the whole of the hostal. We felt very safe and secure while staying there. A lift is just outside. I would certainly recommend this hostal for value and cleanliness. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. All in all a fantastic few days and I would certainly stay again.
