We were staying at the hotel late February 2017. We were given a sea view room with a balcony. The hotel was being refurbished so we could not see anything much from the scaffolding that were cutting out view. The balcony was small, and had a wall around instead of a clear, glass fence. So, even if there were no...

Fantastic views from our Seaview room over the Mediterranean and set in the excellent location of Catalan Bay, the bed was enormous, however, a little hard. Continental breakfast was faultless and so were the staff which is more than can be said for the main reception staff who were quite snooty and not very friendly. Approached the Spa complex and...

We knew of the renovation work, it has not caused us any issues whatsoever in fact every day when we come back a little more of the building is being revealed. Room in south wing is lovely, waves crashing, sunshine and a comfy bed and good shower. Breakfast is fine, coffee not good at all though served in very cold...

After walking from the border, it was a pleasant surprise to see such a beautiful hotel by the sea, its internal beauty was awesome, from the moment we stepped inside we were surrounded by awesome customer service , the best being from Lucas. Rooms spacious, sea view awesome , bed , well best nights sleep on the whole trip. Restaurants...

On the plus side, the hotel has friendly staff, functioning internet and I imagine in some rooms good views. However, currently its not worth a worth a visit: Undergoing constructions cause view obstructions and noise. The breakfast buffet is one of the worst I have witnessed to date, with overcooked cold eggs as its main "attraction". Unless wanted, this hotel...

3rd visit to Gib so knew what to expect but never stayed at The Caleta hotel, had coffee there in the past. We could have been VERY disappointed if we had not been informed of renovating works going on. Front of hotel covered in scaffolding and screening but once into the hotel it was fab. Very smart and clean. We...

We have visited the Caleta several times now and we have not been disappointed. The sea view room with balcony was clean and had excellent facilities as well as toiletries, dressing gowns, slippers and plenty of tea , coffee and milk. There were stairs to negotiate so you may wish to check when booking if you have difficulties. There are...

For the price we paid, our experience of this hotel was reasonable, but it was certainly not what we would usually expect from a four star hotel. The rooms were immaculately clean and had all the necessary amenities including tea and coffee, toiletries, hairdryer and lots of storage. But the finishing touches were disappointing - marks on the walls and...

Paid £140 per night to stay in a building site. We then had a massive power cut when we arrived which lasted all afternoon . Drinks were ridiculously expensive . A couple we met were charged £32 for 2 drinks. We then tried to book a rock tour through reception and were led on a wild goose chase trying to...

Lovely friendly hotel, our room overlooked the sea. There was scaffolding up outside which we were notified in advanced, but didn't detract in any way from our stay. Lovely dinner and breakfast was plentiful.
