Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here two nights and was very comfortable here. The rooms are a good size as is the bathroom which also has a bath which is nice after a day of walking. Rooms are simple but very clean with comfortable beds. The hotel is quiet but in a good location and it just takes a few minutes to walk into the old town.

Excellent, specially the staff. Great people my best experience among 7 hotels (Esp-Portugal trip). Clean, location, safe, friendly and it looks much better on the inside. I definitely recommend it for couples or family.

Small speed bumped right hand turn (one way), off Rua da Ensinanza (going north). Neat and tidy little hotel, backing onto football pitch. Motorbike parking. You can park under cover by reception and it's a space you can use to put on your gear, if wet. Pretty basic, but clean and tidy. Staff polite and friendly. Drinks machine (coins, no change). If you haven't been to Santiago, go. It's very laid back with bars and Tapas. Very cosmopolitan. Stroll across the road, up into Praza da Universidade and away you go!! Breakfast is simple but fine, all the usual continental stuff. Turn left down hill and right/left should get you going!

Very comfortable and soft beds. Helpful staff. You can get a cab from this hotel to other transportation out of Compostela. You can easily walk into the old city (or the new if your ambitious). Tub & shower. No AC but the window open and there is a fan.

Hotel Mirador De Belvis Shortly after my wife and I received our "COMPOSTELA," the certificate awarded for completing the Camino De Santiago, we checked into the small Hotel Mirador de Belvis. Although at first it looked undesirable, the hotel emerged as a pleasant surprise. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable, away from the hustle-and-bustle of Santiago and a short walk to the Cathedral. The staff was always pleasant and generous with their time. As there was no elevator, the receptionist helped lug our stuff up stairs. Other valuable services include handicap access, free parking in the adjacent lot and continental breakfast. Yes, we recommend this hotel. "Boomers"

A good option for Santiago. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast adequate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a short walk, mostly uphill, to the center of the city and the cathedral.

Stayed here for one night on a driving tour of Spain and Portugal. Just wanted somewhere to sleep and park the car. This no frills hotel fits the mould perfectly. Free WiFi, free parking. Friendly and polite staff. And all this just a five minute walk from the cathedral and the centre of town. All this and cheep too. Definatly recommended.

A very quiet hotel, simple, clean and with friendly staff. Though not in the centre, it's a 5 minute walk to the cathedral. The breakfast is not impressive, but it's fair for the price and won't leave you hungry.

Once you have found the hotel , down a narrow side street. You will forget you are in the middle of a city. Gentle hum of motorway hierarchy enough so that you can hear cockerels crow . Unpretentious b&b hotel, but spotless. And minutes walk from centre city.
