My wife had sorted this for the end of my Camino/fortieth birthday. What an experience! Service was amazing - rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was an unbelievable experience. Champagne, a full selection of foods and amazing hot drinks. The building itself is like stepping back in time. Beautiful mid renaissance chapels, courtyards, and beautifully decorated with period sculpture and...

We have stayed 3 nights in this great Parador. Location is perfect in the middle of the old town. Breakfast and service were good. You will get help with your luggage as soon as you arrived and the staff will park your car. The building is wonderful and you will really love it. Room is good, very comfortable bed and...

Dear Guest, Thank you for choosing the Parador in your visit to Santiago. I appreciate your comments about your experience and we are very happy to know you have enjoyed the experience. The views to the Cathedral from the breakfast room windows and the sunset from the terrace only can be enjoyed in Santiago from the Parador and we are...

After a grueling walk on the Camino Frances, the Parador was a welcoming luxury. I booked the room online. Make sure you book early to get the best prices and availability. During the high season and during events this hotel books quickly. I wasn't able to stay here my first night because I waited to book. I was recommending by...

We stayed here at the end of a weeks walking with the family. Probably the nicest parador we have stayed in. Very comfortable rooms and modern bathrooms. Great breakfast. Great self guided walking tour round the hotel. To top it off the staff were excellent and very helpful. Unfortunately our youngest son was ill and they couldn't have been more...

Historic and cultural connections and history enhance the service and facilities. A range of restaurant and cafeteria options. The food is varied, good quality and we'll presented. Breakfast includes local dishes. The staff are smart , friendly and efficient.

Perfect end to a weeks walk eating the magnificent degustation menu and staying at this beautiful hotel - all creature comforts. Classic rich luscious interiors. Bath big enough to swim in, every detail thought of but recall Internet was not so good.

I first stayed here 30 years ago and have returned numerous times since. I can't see any reason (other than cost) to stay anywhere else in this amazing town; the Parador is right by the Cathedral, but well sound-proofed. It's full of history and professional but amiable staff. If you don't want to eat in either of the restaurants, it's...

I had long heard of this as one of the best Paradors in Spain, and was not disappointed. Everything we would look for in a hotel - room quality, cleanliness, ambiance, superb staff, was excellent, as is born out by numerous other reviews. That said, the distinctive feature is the historic setting, on the plaza which ends the Camino de...

A historic Hospital built originally in the time of Isabel and Ferdinand to care for Pellegrino's is now home to a Parador for modern Pellegrino's. It is steeped in history but retains a special welcoming atmosphere, especially after our grueling Camino escapade. Our tired and blistered feet crept along the wide stone walkways to our luxurious well-appointed room where we...
