The location of this hotel is great. It is in a historical building right next to the cathedral. The staff are great and would dispense information with any enquiries with patience. The bedroom was big and nicely decorated with wall pictures. The floors are wooden and tended to creak but it gave characters to the place, There was canopied beds...

Such a beautiful place, full of history. Steps away from the cathedral and all the historic places to visit. The food is incredible in both restaurants. The also serve very nice things at the coffee shop all day. The staff is super helpful and attentive. The place is full of history and deserves to be visited.

Well, there's not much that can be said that hasn't already been said about this fabulous hotel. Situated right at the end of the pilgrims trail to the Shrine at Santiago de Compostela this place just is history, history, history. Smart, black garbed bellmen greet you and take care of your car (you drive in through pedestrian traffic allowed only because...

What a memorable experience a the end of the Camino. So historic, wonderful location. Bedrooms were beautiful; superb bathroom with a claw foot tub and separate shower. Plain on the outside with all the modern amenities on the inside. Breakfast was also wonderful with everything a person could want. Dinner in the basement was out farewell dinner with special memories....

This six-hundred year old Parador located in Santiago De Compostela, Spain is the last stop in our thirteen day trek across northern, Spain. While the outside is old and looks it, the inside is what give it Spain's only other "5-star" rating. Rooms have been updated with the usual expected amenities. Service is quite good and valet parking is available....

Also known as Hostal dos Reis Catolicos was originally a Royal Hospital in the late 15th century. . It provided lodging and shelter for the numerous pilgrims making their way to Santiago, an age old practice which continues to this day I...

Great historic hotel in a prime position to see and feel Santiago, right on the square next to the Cathedral. Short on comfort, heating is not turned on unit 7 pm and no spare blankets in the room. Excellent food and breakfast.

In the heart of the town and of the events. Excellent stay, but difficult to reach by car. Some difficulties in managing luggage because of (a few) stairs. Very good breakfast, great atmosphere, excellent staff.

This hotel was chosen by friends as they wanted a luxury stay after walking the Camino de Santiago. I was impressed by the buildings do some of the decor but that is as far as it goes. The room was no better than many 3 star hotels that I have stayed in. The bed was uncomfortable and the room was...
