Probably my favourite hotel anywhere - historic building, beautifully maintained and in a stunning location directly opposite the cathedral. I usually walk 500 miles to get there but this time I flew to the city to show my wife what I have talked about so much. In 50 years of marriage. She said it was the best hotel she had...

Staying in this former monastery was one of the highlights of my three-day visit. The building is beyond beautiful and the staff is first-rate. Breakfast was simple but plentiful - the cafe was comfortable and coffee was inexpensive. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with a modern bathroom and a great shower, big fluffy towels and hairdryer, but no shampoo...

Stayed here in 10/10/14....after walking the Camino Francis for 33 days. Wonderful welcome, wonderful breakfast and super comfy bed...nice hot shower. Pilgrim rooms are on the top floor...old monk rooms. Felt spoiled.xo

stayed 2 nights...first night---BEDBUGS...they changed our room the next morning...traveled home 10,000 miles with bedbug bites itching all the way home---of course one never knows what to expect as bedbugs could be anywhere---but there was no compensation for the amount of trouble we incurred

We went on 31sr December and satyied until the 2 nd January. The room was modest but cosy and specially the food was great not only in New Year dinner but also the breakfast and we used the restaurant service which was also fine. Very well located with parking nearby

San Martin Pinario was a great choice for visiting Santiago. Good clean accomodations literally across the street from the Cathedral... Santiago is such a nice place to visit and to walk its streets, and having the Hospederia so close was very convenient

An 'all about pilgrims' hotel, located just across Santiago's cathedral, San Martin Pinario provides a very confortable and welcoming environment to all visitors. The hotel building is a former monastery which you can easily sense by the minimalistic decor. If you're looking for luxuries this is not your best pick but if you look for a very clean and central...

My wife and I walked the Camino Frances the fall of 2015. We arrived in Santiago on Oct 31, having successfully completed the 500 mile pilgrimage. We had reservations for two nights at San Martin Pinario. It was so nice to have a private room with private bath after spending 35 days hiking across Spain. The ambience of San Martin...

This is a nice simple hotel with small rooms but immaculately clean. As advertised. The hotel is in an old building used as a seminary. The restaurant was great with inexpensive food, well prepared. We would stay here again.

We were looking to connect with friends we had met while walking the Camino and thought that this would be the place to do so. We liked the atmosphere s soon as we walked in. The rooms are pretty basic but all we needed except no WIFI on our floor. WIFI was sketchy in the lounge at times too but...
