I went here with my two children. I ordered some food for us three and sangria. The waiter changed my paella to another dish for us. My bill then came to a whopping 84 euro. When I questioned this he was aggressive and shouted at me. I took a picture of the menu and him and he was very threatening and aggressive. Something I’m not used to in all the years I’ve visited Spain. Do not eat at the street food Market in La Morra it’s an absolute con job. The waiter was SO aggressive he didn’t like me takin his picture
Stayed at the lovely campsite torre de la mora. Whatever you do don’t go to the street food market that serves paella and meats at the weekend market, the biggest rip off ever. If they find out you’re British they will rip you off we paid €174 for 6 people, they suggested the menu, naive maybe but you don’t expect that from the friendly Spanish people
When we stayed at this camp site before, we left our camper van at the entrance and walked with the personnel to check for available spots. We would then go back to the office and tell the reception which spot/number we would like. The last time, we were not allowed on the property anymore. We could only look on the paper map at the office. Since we like to see who is next to us, we didn't like this approach. When we mentioned that it was different when we were there before, they told us the rules had changed and we just had to deal with it. That's why we left. Location and views are magnificent, unfortunately not for us anymore... The quality changed and it has not gotten better.
Very nice camping with excellent facilities. Good swimming-pool and private beach. Restaurant is also good. Location is very quiet, little activities in the evenings. Our tent was very nice and so was the weather 28 degrees.
We were pleasantly surprised by this campsite. We stayed in a Comanche because in the low season it worked out cheaper than getting a tent pitch for a family of four. Our Comanche (CM 6) was in the last row, but we liked being up high because of the view and people did not walk through our site. The pool and restaurant were nice. The highlight for me was the beach. The water was clear, calm and warm. I highly recommend going in low season. The temperature was 27-30 and there weren’t that many people. I imagine in summer it is crazy busy. Note: If you have difficulty with stairs be sure to let the staff know.
We have just returned from a fabulous two week holiday at torre de la Mòra Campsite. The staff are friendly, the facilities are clean and plenty of Showers. The pitches are great and well kept. We were on pitch 73 which was close to the toilets and the pool and the beach. The shop was well stocked and again staff were lovely. I can’t fault the site at all it was a great holiday. The whites
We stayed in a Coco tent for 2 people. It had a comfortable bed and enough room for both of us. It also had enough kitchen utensils to prepare meals. The facilities around the camp (i.e. showers, bathrooms, etc) were always clean. We were a little disappointed by the pool. It's an area that is mainly intended for small kids and not really deep enough for adults to swim in.
We've visited as a family of 4 three times now with our camper van and we love it. The site is set amongst pine trees with lots of pitches having shade and lots of fantastic views of the Mediterranean. The site has a brilliant pool and lots of entertainments which can be a bit cheesy but the kids enjoy it. The site is also on a wonderful beach with great swimming and snorkelling. Highly recommended.
Visited twice. Comfortable bungalows. Tienda de campaña not so great (ants, furthest part to restaurant and pool, beds..). Lovely big pool, however their restaurant food was average and quite expensive. In general not much choice in the area, 4 restaurants in the neighbourhood. The location is fantastic otherwise, close to forest trails towards beautiful beaches. Better availability and price booking on their website than booking in person at the reception. Unhelpful receptionist, giving us no solution to leave the camp at 6:30am as the barrier for cars open at 7:00am. Better weekend spent in the bungalows, perfect for short family breaks.
We took a chance in this site and it really paid off. Such a lovely setting, a beautiful and well maintained beach, really clean shore and water. The site itself was extremely well run and the accommodation spotless and really well thought of. The showers and washing facilities were bright and clean and well designed and the babies facilities really lovely. The swimming pool was clean with plenty of loungers and good food supplied all day and evening from the restaurant. I just can't say enough about the place. I loved it. If I had to give a down side I would say that it isn't very accessible for people with walking difficulties or in wheelchairs. But this is just because it is so hilly and I can't see how they could get around that very easily. Great for families as the tidal movement is really small and the sea goes out quite far staying quite shallow. (Also great water sports available) In summary - Go there immediately. …
