We booked a room with a double bed and although they said they had one upon arribal we founs out it was two twin beds and at reception they were unable to aort it out and find us and adequate room. Even though the hotel advertises 24h service to rooms it is untrue and at reception they claim it is “two years old and they just haven’t updated the adverts” Very unsatifactory. Big disappointment for a four star hotel.

My and friends stayed there 2 nights on September 4 and 5. THE GOOD: Modern hotel, nice lobby, nice restaurant and bar, stylish decorated and clean. Large sitting area with large screen TV in the lobby and restaurant. Lovely terrace, small pool on the premises, gym and locked parking, extra but cheap, 7 euros per day. Good English-speaking receptionists, in uniform and very friendly and helpful. Small but modern elevators. Check in was fast. So far very close to the 4 star hotel as advertised. Lidle mega store next door. THE BAD: The hotel is situated far from the city, in the middle of the industrial area of Tarragona, attached to a Nissan car dealer. Me and my friends, architects as well, believed, judging by the layout and the separations, that this building was initially an office building with commercial space on the ground store, just like the adjacent car dealer and recently renovated. But this is not relevant to this review. Being in the industrial area there are no restaurants or other dining venues around. If you refuse to drive you are stuck with dining at the hotel, limited options for meals and expensive and slow serving bar. The bar tender is also the waiter in the restaurant. The hotel does not have an ice machine, we asked for more than a glass full of ice cubes, 3 cubes to be precise, and we were asked to pay 5 euros for a small container, way more expensive than buying a full bag from the gas station, but there are none in the walking distance. A rip off! I advised the reception, I was not offered any ice other than just a promise that this topic will be discussed with the manager. There is free parking in front of the hotel but it is impossible to find a spot, most spots are taken by cars and minivans that do not belong to the hotel patrons. I tried to get a spot, 2 days in a row, those vehicles did not move. Rooms; mine and my friends' were the same, decent but the quality of beds were less to be desired. Hard mattresses small bed sheets, all tucked in and hard to use. Washrooms were disgusting. Mold around the bathtubs, see pictures attached. I complained, mold is a health concern where I come from, this is intolerable. I was given a different room on the same floor. I also complained about the AC, fully blasting but did not function properly, it would not cool the room. The new room had the same issue. Inefficient AC. I believe this is a common matter in this establishment, I experienced the same occurrence in the lobby and bar area. It was not awful hot but we were expecting a little better from a 4-star hotel. Cleaning in the room is relative, a lot of dust under the bed and in the closet. There is paper tape/band around the toilet seat with the standard “disinfected” writing. This feature is common for most of 3 and 4-star hotel but not this one. Use your discretion if you are to book this hotel or not. I would never go back to a place that post 4 big stars all over the place but has mold in the washroom and where I am asked 5 euros for a few cubes of ice. Cheers!

The hotel is basically like a chain hotel ie... Holiday Inn or travel lodge, the beds look big but are very uncomfortable, they are hard and you can feel the springs ALL night, the location is close to nowhere, and is in a very industrial part of Tarragona, if it's your first time to Tarragona don't let this hotel be your first impression.. we fell in love with the city, just not the hotel and it was not value for money at all. The staff are friendly which is good, but the gym was out of action and we were not notified until we red it in the lift on the way to the room and this is one of the reasons why we actually booked this hotel. So as you can imagine we were not very happy. And to top off our experience, the hotel decided to dig up the concrete area with a digger outside our room on both of the days we stopped there as they are clearly doing something to the carpark and it started at 9am both mornings. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Do not book this hotel if you're on holiday, it's in the wrong area, it's not comfortable and it was not value for money. The only redeeming feature of this hotel is the staff who are friendly and helpful. If you read any of the reviews I leave you will know I'm honest and fair, i don't just write reviews if I'm disappointed, I write them to help fellow travellers wether the receive be good or bad.

We stayed here for one night. It is well situated for a visit to the beautiful town of Tarragona. The hotel was perfect for our needs. The room was clean and well equipped with a good shower. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast looked ok - a continental buffet selection- nothing much appealing for vegans so I gave it a miss and as I wasn’t paying for breakfast I couldn’t sit in the restaurant so had to order my coffee in reception and meet my partner on the terrace by the pool to sit with him while he had breakfast of eggs and toast. The pool is small but fine for a dip to cool off. Finding the hotel was very difficult- it’s not signposted and our sat nav kept directing us down unmade roads. It’s necessary to get on to a local road parallel to the main road which is easier said than done and by the time you realise where the entrance is you’ve missed it. We circled the hotel a number of times! A few obvious signs would be very helpful.
