We stayed here after getting the train from Barcelona -the station is round the corner from hotel and the nice beach-restaurants are very close. The Hotel is very clean and buffet breakfast was super. Gabriella on reception was very welcoming and kind. Our room was adequate and clean, shower room small but functional. No outlook from the windows just backs of apartments which are above the Hotel(quite common in Spain) we didnt come here to sit in the room so not a problem. The main shopping area is high up lots of steps but there are outside escalators all the way up! A nice quiet break after busy Barcelona!
We had a triple room with 3 single beds as 3 ladies travelling together. Room was tight but bathroom was large. Hotel is central. Very clean but basic. Breakfast is ok. Good value. There is only one flight of stairs to all rooms but NO LIFT. which is a problem if u have lots of luggage or large cases. We found Tarragona very nice sedate town. Made a change from crowded Barcelona. A visit to the towns Mercado is a must.
We were driving down to Morocco and had to stop due to a mechanical issue, we pulled into Tarragon and checked out the sta-nav accommodation and this hotel was the closest so we booked in for one night. Doesn't look much from the outside but it was everything we wanted / needed, helpful and pleasant stafff, clean and quite in the bedroom and a sufficient breakfast in the morning. At the very affordable price its a no brainer.
The hotel's location is great. Some of the advantages: It is next to the train station where you can take the train to Salou or Barcelona etc. and at a walking distance from the city centre. The beach is also very close (a 5 minutes walk). It is quiet during the day and during the night and the bed is comfy so you won't have any trouble getting a good night sleep. Some of the drawbacks The air conditioning wasn't working very well and the shower is very tiny and cramped. Not bad at all but you should take this into consideration. It is very clean and the staff is super friendly. The breakfast is not fancy but you'll find a little bit of everything. All in all the experience was great and if you know what to expect you won't be disappointed. You can not ask for more at this price.…
+)very close to the train station and on a walking distance to the touristic area (about 5 minutes walking and a lot of stairs to climb to Balcón del Mediterráneo, or 5-10 minutes to the beach). Comfortable bed and pillows. Very good breakfast with a lot of choice for food and drinks. -) Imposible to sleep without good ear plugs because you will hear everything the neighbors speak or every car or noise in the street. small room, especially the bathroom and the shower area.
The hotel was 150 m to the train station, 10 minutes walk into town. Hotel clean, very helpfull on reception, spoke french n english too. The rooms clean, bathroom a bit cramped and small shower with a big step in. No kettle but tv, radiators came on at night ( April) Breakfast nothing special but fine. Very good for 50 euros
I'm going to be very fair and start by saying that at 45 euro a night for a triple including breakfast, one cannot ask for more. On top of that we got a very quiet clean room (rather small but sufficient) overlooking a courtyard and the curtains worked, so one could sleep soundly plus good beds and good linen. The shower pressure very average in a very small bathroom with no privacy yet good ventilation... No elevator and the area around the hotel is very boring with a couple of seedy bars nearby and a very depressing supermarket. The worst part is the breakfast. Why insist on making a large spread of very poor food? Everything offered is very low cost and that's a shame as it spoils your day. Reception was efficient enough. Next to the train station.
We stayed here for one night for a weekend trip to Tarragona Ups - GREAT location. A 5 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute walk from the beaches. Also around a 15 minute walk to the old town with many restaurants, bars and sites Breakfast was good, large selection and relatively cheap (€6 pp) Wifi was cracking throughout Late checkout at 12pm meant no rushing which was nice Downs - Air con did not work at all, receptionist didn't really acknowledge the problem so we sweated one out Shower was tiny, couldn't turn etc without banging the door open Not worth the money paid (€60), yeah it was good, but everything was very basic and would probably expect a better room and all round better experience for that price All in all it was ok
My friend and myself stayed here overnight on way to moto gp Aragon. We didn't realise it was fiesta week so had a nice surprise when we went into town to find all those people in party mood. Didn't quite understand the cultural wooden mule thing, ( you had to be there). Anyway the hotel was clean and quiet with good A/C. Full marks to the girl on reception 21/9/17. Pm. She was very helpful and efficient and the brek was ok and included. All in all it was a bargain. If you don't expect any more than 3 star you won't be dissapointed.
The hotel has a perfect location, only a few minutes to the beach and to the sights and the main places and streets. But therefore it is very loud. The single bedroom was too small but clean. The breakfast is baisc and there is not much choice. Beware if you park in the parking garage: ask at the reception for the special price!
