We stayed midweek for 4 nights in a city view room. Room was clean and comfortable and we weren’t bothered by any road noise. Air conditioning worked well. Reception were helpful when needed. Breakfast was fine, better than we’ve had in some other city hotels. The pool was lovely and we had it to ourselves most mornings before heading off sightseeing. The caravan cafe didn’t open whilst we were there due to demand. The nearest beach was gorgeous with soft golden sand and the chiringitos opened whilst late at night. The only thing to be aware of is that taxis were expensive, ten euro to do the mile into town. We ended up walking in via the beach in the day and using buses to go out at night, but these stopped running quite early. We taxied back once and walked back after midnight twice, it felt safe. I had seen on here it was a 20 minute walk, that seemed optimistic and was more like 30, at least it was downhill on way back from town which means it’s uphill into town. All in all a good stay if you like walking.…
We stayed for a few nights at the Nuria. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was positioned at the rear of the hotel so away from the road and had views from the balcony of the pool and the sea beyond. There is a railway line between the hotel and the sea but the noise of passing trains did not disturb us. We chose to use the private parking, otherwise parking is on the road outside. A very comfortable stay.
Basic, but ok hotel. Warm and a bit noisy rooms. On the other hand, the balcony is very nice and you can also open the door here. We slept on the side of the road and were not bothered by the traffic. Bathroom was fine, but outdated. The pool was so dirty we didn't use it. There was also an extra fee for making use of beach towels (€20 deposit per towel + extra costs per day, very unfriendly). Fortunately, the beach is a 5-minutes walk. Aldi is located around the corner and within a 30 minutes walk you are at the theater and the ramblas. Free parking and enough parking space (maybe due to COVID?) in the street of the hotel.
Only 15 minutes from Reus airport, easily accessible from main roads and just a 5 minute drive from old city centre. Plenty of on-street parking. Rooms were modern and clean and bed comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
Was the most expensive stopover on our trip to Spain but was arguably worth it. Handy parking outside on the street or you can pay to park under the hotel. Friendly receptionist and smooth check in. Dog friendly and handy for the beach. We had one pool/ sea view and one street view room. No argument about which is better if you like a view but we didn’t mind either way. Handy bar in the hotel and the evening meal was splendid. Breakfast really nice and varied. Would stay here again but only when there was a discount available.
So I went on to Trip Advisor to get recommendations about a hotel in Tarragona. I saw that at this hotel we could park on the street and it was safe. This was necessary because we had a car. The hotel is about a 20 min walk from the old city area. There is also a bus that runs from across the street to the downtown area. Get off at Casino stop. It is $1.50 Euros per person 1 way. The hotel was fine initially. However we get back from dinner downtown at 12:30 a.m and the hotel is locked. We were told there was someone at the desk 24 hours a day. We were actually locked out on a deserted street. We stood in the cold on the street for over 20 minutes. We rang the bell and no one came to unlock the door. We banged and rang and knocked and could not get into the hotel. There was no key access and no one answered the call button on the wall. Finally a man came out from inside the hotel and acted with utter indignation towards us, that we were somehow at the lobby door banging to get in to a place we paid to stay in. It appeared we were bothering him. The man was not apologetic or anything of the sort. It was horrible!! I am sure there are many other hotels that would like business and would not lock the door at 12:30 leaving their guests stranded on the street. Disgusted at this entire place!! Find another place more respectable and thankful for their guests.…
Used as a stop-off from Spain to France in Tarragona. Very convenient garage parking and the bed was one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in, the linens were superb quality too. 5 min walk to beach and very nice beach bar - great value ...
Excellent hotel, very kind staff and personnel, we had a nice dinner and breakfast too. The price for 1 night with breakfast included was € 78,-, which is quite fair for a good room in this hotel. We had dinner in the evening, for a reasonable price and good quality.
We Stayed for 1 night to catch a flight out of Barcelona the next day (90 minutes drive). Hotel is budget priced, easy to find (directly on major road), with enough parking spaces on the road. Restaurant is excellent for dinner and breakfast, service is good, staff is super friendly and helpful. 10-15 minutes stroll to the beach. Value for money is hard to beat.
we stayed one night at this hotel for touring tarragona. booked via booking. the price was good for this neighborhood . we were welcomed by a nice lady at the front desk. asked and recieved a room at high floor and balcony toward the sea. quiet room. reasonable size. comfortable bed. small and usefull fridge. there was a safe too but we did not use. free street parking in front of the hotel .Overall we enjoyed our stay at that hotel. Did not have breakfast in our package so cannot comment on that.
