Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Low budget hotel, typically Spanish, friendly propietar, private parking, free wi-fi, breakfast buffet in a separate building, choice was of course typical Spanish, limited choice but sort of ok. " You pay your money - you get your choice ", otherwise ok.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed here for 1 night in June of 2022. The people working the front desk were very friendly and nice. Our rooms were okay - nothing great, nothing bad, just a nice place to sleep for a night. The good - there was an elevator. The bad - the A/C was working but not as cool as we are used to. I would have liked it to be a bit cooler. There was parking but it was first come first serve (about 10 spots). We checked in right away at about 4:00 and then kept our car there in the parking lot as we didn't want to lose the spot. We walked around the hotel a bit & it looked like on street parking was very full. So we were very glad to have our car parked and it was an added bonus that the hotel & parking was behind a gate you had to be let in to access. Made us feel very secure. There was a nice small grocery store within a block so we walked down & got some supplies we needed. That night we ate supper at the attached restaurant and were very happy with it. Again, the people working there were super nice and helpful. Their menu was in pictures and in English so that helped. Our son had cuddlefish and loved it. I had beef and although it was different than steak in the States, it was very good. We also had breakfast in the morning at the attached restaurant and it was also very nice. A very typical Spanish hotel breakfast - fruit, lunch meats, cheese and breads. All in all a great 1 night stay while we visited Tarragona.

Stayed for one night in a family room. Very basic accommodation, decent size room. Bathroom stank of sewage. Uncomfortable beds very warm room, has air conditioning but very noisy. Very old and tired hotel probably more like 2 stars at best.

Rooms are a bit dated and dinner not very nice . Breakfast was good selection .The staff was very helpful and friendly. Good location near shops and local markets. Only stayed one night wouldn’t recommend more than that but was responsible priced so get what you pay for .

We drove into Tarragona looking for our Hotel, finally we found it but could not work out how to get in to park. My Husband found a small space to leave our large car and went into the bar/restaurant next door to ask. It seems that if you walk through this bar you get to the Hotel reception. They could not have been nicer. The way to get in was explained and my husband returned drove to a gate which looked like it went into the middle of the building, it opened and a smiley faced man showed us where to park. The room was good, the bar and restaurant excellent. Breakfast was also served in the bar and was good, filling and lots to pick from. The staff were very nice and the Hotel was in the town s you could walk to shops. I would tell anyone to stay there if they wanted to stay at a proper Spanish Hotel.

The room is adequate, if a bit tired. However on the back of the door is the price for meals. €9 for breakfast. €15 for each lunch and dinner. Just had dinner and it reminds me of the truck stop all day breakfasts I used to have in the 60s and 70s. Floating in grease and the "chips" boiled in oil. Fried egg and chips with everything. Not impressed.

Lovely hotel, not the most modern but was just what we wanted with the family for a night, great owners, great price, good food, great selection at breakfast and secure parking. Every effort was made to make us feel welcome, we stayed before we went on to our campsite and everyone agreed it was perfect start to holiday. Beware you cannot walk to centre but restaurant is absolutely fine in hotel. Free wifi that worked!
