El Xahet is a lovely hotel in the village of Sitges, Spain. Some of the furnishings are on the old side, but the general atmosphere of the hotel and the friendliness of staff more than made up for it. The breakfast was on of the best I have had in a small hotel with lots of choice and fresh-baked goods.

My wife and I stayed fro a couple of nights. The hotel is a beautiful "modernista" building, but it has a somewhat tired look to it. Our bathroom door would not close properly, and the silicone around the edges of the bath needs replacing or at the very least, repainting. The breakfast was OK though the kiwis were so overripe...

This is the third time that I have stayed at El Xalet and once again had a great few days. I agree with previous contributors to Trip Advisor that this hotel deserves more that its 2 star status. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and kept spotlessly clean by Francesca. The hotel has an atmosphere of faded glamour and staff...

It is only a two stars hotel, but it should be much more. Location is perfect, just short walk from railway station. Since quite many come to Sitges by train. Hotel is very quiet, I could sleep all the windows open. They don´t have 24 hours reception, but you get your own key to front door, so you can go...

This is a beautiful hotel. We stayed for 4 blissful nights in room 103 which was the suite. It was huge! The stunning bedroom/lounge had 2 kingsize beds, a sofa and 2 armchairs. Lovely large bathroom with a full size bath and powerful shower. There was also a small sitting room with a fridge, safe and tea making facilities. All...

I have eaten here many times over twenty years and twice in the last week. Attention to detail and excellent service from a team that really cares as well as the beautiful garden keep me coming back. The set menu is great value for money with lots of choices. The open kitchen gives a chance to see it being prepared....

The restaurant is set outside around a lovely pool. It's very atmospheric and the food is presented well. They have set menu approx € 24 This includes a 1/2 bottle of wine per person, bread and 3 courses. Quite a few options to choose from also something for the vegetarians too. It's great for a romantic meal or as a...

This is the first time I've written a review in Tripadvisor, but I was moved to do so by the excellent standard of the food, the friendly service and the value for money. My partner and I ate here last Friday night and were very impressed. For 25 euros you get an imaginative and very well prepared and presented three...

We ate here beside the pool one evening. Lovely, romantic setting the pool in the garden of an old mansion-hotel (beautiful building). Lovely Dutch host, all staff particularly pleasant and warm. The food was very good, especially my gazpacho starter served with lime basil icecream. Great value meal as included wine (or sangria at a surcharge). Highly recommended to eat...
