Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Many thanks to Maria and her team. A beautiful location and property. Maria went out of her way to make our family trip special! We had a problem with a delayed passport, at the last minute Maria saved the day and helped us avoid having to find alternative accommodation. A very warm, hospitable welcome, we were shown to beautiful rooms (we had a Garden Terrace) fabulous views over the City and Pyrenees. The rooms was spacious and very clean. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and soaking up the sun by the Pool. A super location, we were spoilt with beautiful restaurants and visited some recommended by Maria. A lovely downhill walk to the Old Town within 10 minutes. The youngsters in our group easily navigated the walk back up the steep hill in the heat, however lots of buses and taxis are available and cheap should you prefer. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay and look forward to returning in the future.

Room Tip: Good supermarket and little cafe 10 mins further up the hill. Fresh coffees, bakery etc.

I booked the junior deluxe suite for my boyfriend's birthday on a rainy weekend in Girona. The rain held up as we enjoyed the complimentary hour-long jacuzzi and bottle of cava against the backdrop of the city. The staff also arranged to have balloons and a delicious homemade birthday cake delivered to our room and they also helped us order dinner from a local joint. All COVID precautions were respected. Thanks so much for everything! Moltíssimes gràcies per tot!

The rooms are immaculate. Attention to detail is everywhere. Carmen is a welcoming host and everything feels very personalised. The location is wonderful with views across Girona that are especially enjoyable from the hottub in the garden. Comfy bed and awesome shower. Would love to return. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Had been trying to get to Girona and specifically stay at Montjuic B&B for two years now. I must say I was not disappointed. The views from the junior suite were even better than pictured on the website. Carmen was particularly wonderful. She made a delicious breakfast and had plenty of extra hot coffee ready for me without even asking. Her recommendations were spot on and she was particularly helpful setting up my appointment at the clinic for the mandatory COVID test for my return to the U.S. True, the hike up Montjuic to the B&B was a little strenuous, but Carmen made the effort worthwhile.

Lovely B&B with decent rooms and a great breakfast. Up a very steep hill from the city which is great for views and for walking down but definitely take a taxi back up. The owner is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the city - she made us feel very welcome. I haven’t rated it five stars as some of the decor needs to be updated, but given the state of tourism in the last two years delaying such investment is entirely understandable. Would very happily stay again.

Yes, it is not in the medieval town centre but you look down on it ! And you have a pool ! Plus the bus back up the hill is every 15 minutes and quick and cheap so no need to bother with taxis.
Carmel as has been indicated in previous reviews was a mine of information especially where restaurants were concerned and they were all winner’s
Good views over the town tho also from our room the road winding up the hill.
The big difference between accommodation here and in town is of course the pool and it is big enough for a proper swim.
A bit odd there is an additional charge for breakfast; it’s not like you are in town and have a choice.

We had a wonderful stay.

The great hostess gave us a warm welcome and the breakfast was perfect. The view was amazing, and the pool was great.

The walk to the city centre is perfectly doable and bus stops are nearby if you would prefer not to walk.

Sorry - but this place was more tired than chic.,The lighting was yellowish and this cast a downbeat glow.
There;s a sheet between you and the duvet cover...which worried me literally all night - can only think it removed the need to change the duvet cover. But maybe that's unfair? The shower wasn't great and there was an abundance of ants marching around the sink. Given we paid, I think about 135 euros without breakfast and in November I thought that wasn't good either.

Lovely B&B in the hills within 10 mins walk of the centre of Girona old town. Lovely pool and very nice rooms with balcony overlooking the city. Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Parking was very easy on the street in front of the property. Would highly recommend

We had a fabulous time at this B&B. Carmen was a font of information and it was surprisingly easy to find the shortcut to the Old town. The pool is the real gem after a long day wandering. Breakfast is well worth the additional cost. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Honesty bar was a nice touch. This was our 3rd visit to Girona and we would definitely return to this accommodation.
Carmen booked our taxi to and from the airport and everything went smoothly.

Hi, what is the best way to get to and from the airport? Thanks, Ali

So sorry - didn't spot your message until today. We flew from Barcelona, and caught the train from there to Girona - then a taxi from the train station. But my guess is that this advice comes too late!
