good location in the middle of the old city, walking distance to all important places as well as restaurants; the room was OK, the bed comfortable, bathroom not very modern but was clean and spacious. It was enough for 2 nights.
The only thing I did not like: No glasses, there was sth like "common kitchen" but there was only a fridge and a microwave and a paid coffee machine with paper cups, no kettle to boil the water, no tea option in the coffee machine, no teaspoon or a cup. It would be nice to have an option to make a tea.

Very close to the historic centre though it was tucked up a narrow street and I nearly missed it. The room was very small, clean, basic, with shared facilities which was OK just for an overnight.
I missed the note on the door and walked around all afternoon with my heavy backpack. I returned to find the door still closed. It was only then I saw a notice concerning Booking.com and a number to call. As the person I rang hardly spoke a word of English communication by mobile phone (which they presumed I had), was difficult. However, the lady arrived within minutes. The room had no window. The radiator clicked on and off all night, and the locks on the doors echoed right through the building because of the tiled floors and absolute lack of any soft furnishings to absorb the sound - luckily the hotel was not heavily booked so I managed to sleep.
For people on a touring holiday by car this Pension is impossible to park nearby. The nearest underground car park would work out dearer than the cost of the overnight stay. To overcome this problem there are two solutions. Either check out the situations of the free car parks and walk to the hotel, or use the bus. To start with I arrived in the town, got as near as possible and parked in the underground car park near the market. There is a bus stop right next to the car park and the market. So I decided to follow the No. 1 bus route until I could find an area with free parking - the bus routes are all marked at the bus stops. I then caught the bus into town and reversed the process the next morning. Cost for the bus was about 1.20€ each way. Any parking areas with blue lines are not free.

The single room just opposite the reception was okay - it was very noisy though. The hostel is not a party hostel, so during the night and in the morning is was quiet, which was nice. Bathrooms very clean, good water pressure and temperature. Room did not have a window (neither fan nor air condition), so the small window above the door had to be kept open for air, this made the room very very noisy during non-sleep hours (afternoon). It was quiet enough during the night. Location is excellent, few steps to the center of old town and the start of La Rambla.

Afternoon staff did not speak English, but Spanish and French.

Real soulless place. Room was like a prison cell with no windows and barely any furniture. Admittedly it was cheap for a single room but was able to see into the other more expensive rooms as well and they all similar. The staff member was dying to leave early and told me just to leave the keys in the room on the way out in the morning.

I booked this place one week in advance. Two days prior to my stay they emailed me asking of my check-in time, I advised it would be around midnight. They emailed back asking me to cancel my booking as their check-in hours were until 9.30pm. I responded asking for them to confirm that given it was within the 2 day window for cancellation that they would waive the cancellation fee.
They advised that they will not waive the fee and will be charging the full cost of the room.
I advise that given there are still rooms available on booking websites that me cancelling now would not cost them any business, however they charged me the fee and said nothing more.
I was a single female arriving late in the night and had to scramble to find someplace else to stay last minute. I was very disappointed with this customer service and I would not recommend staying here

This is a classic Spanish pension, and does just what it says on the tin. Spotlessly clean, newly updated, great shower and friendly hosts. We stayed here for its closeness to the city theatre, and given its value for money, we'll definitely be back!

It's small pension, but very climatic place. Close to center. You can feel like you are living in Girona since ages, because of narrow street that is located. The lady who manages is very kind. I recommend the stay in double room-about others I saw only the common bathroom and small kitchenette. The rooms are very clean and every day they change the towels. there is also a coffe machine and you can find out more about region of Catalunya from the prospects exposed in the shuffles.

This pension is a bunch of small rooms in old building. I missed a sort of common place or living room and kitchen.
Bad was OK, room nice but very small. Shared bathroom very clean, however quite old. Good location makes it a good place for overnight, but hard to find due to narrow street which you can miss easily.

We booked this Pension for 3 nights for our arrival in Girona because of its location and cost . We got the bus 500 from the airport to the bus station and then we walked from there. It was about a 20 minute walk.
Reception times were given as between 1 and 9.30pm. and we were delighted to find a very friendly and welcoming lady at reception. We had booked a room with shared bathroom and when we saw it we were very pleased. Very clean ,spotless with clean linen and daily clean .We found the shared bathroom O.K but if you have to get up in the night it would be better to book room with private bathroom as it is a bit of a maze to get to the bathroom.
On our next visit we did book the room with private bathroom again very clean great shower with soap and shampoo provided and fresh towels daily and it was only a little extra in cost but as we had an early departure well worth it. Again please note the reception times because outwith these times there is no staff there . There is only Spanish and Catalan spoken.
We were very happy with the location as there were so many cafes and restaurants the historic centre the rail and bus station within walking distance.
There is building work being done in this lovely old building just now an elevator is being installed so out in the central staircase men start work at 8am and work daytime .It didn’t affect us at all.

The best bet is to park up near the University in the free parking bays there. Not too long a walk from there.
