We were recommended The Peninsula by Bike Breaks Cycle Tours. The bright modern communal areas of the hotel include a cafe and breakfast room which provides unlimited continental provisions to set you up for the day. The bedrooms are typical of a city hotel, so relatively small but well appointed, everything worked and showers were good and plenty of clothes...

Perfectly located hotel with very helpful staff at reception. Rooms are clean and well maintained as well as being quite comfortable. Also surprisingly quiet room for such a centrally located hotel during a busy weekend.

Not much to say about this affordable but not really surprising hotel. Clean and quite large rooms with good bathroom but basic comfort. Good beds which is important !! Airco properly functioning. Basic breakfast, limited choice, French style. Good option if it is for a few nights, just passing through. Electricity dropouts, wifi is quite weak...

Stayed one night in this very central hotel. Had to change rooms as the first one smelt of smoke. Moved to the 5th floor - reception staff were very helpful - room was fine. It's noisy in the streets at night but it was mid summer and the windows were open. Didn't stay for breakfast.

The customer service at reception was very good, they were extremely helpful. This hotel is located at the gateway to the old town next to a bridge. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. WiFi excellent. The place to stay in Girona.

Very central.... No other hotel appeared to be this close to centre. Reasonable price. Friendly staff. Clean. Modern. Air-con temperature seemed to be fixed centrally as would not cool enough. On the whole, good value for money.

Hotel Peninsular is in central Girona, just across the river from the old town, and therefore very conveniently placed. The location can be a little noisy on weekends, but sound insulation is effective if the room windows are kept closed. The staff were always pleasant and very helpful. The rooms were serviced effectively and were very clean. Unfortunately, the rooms...

A 10 night stay at the hotel. It is very comfortable, clean hotel, with a modern feel, located right next to the Pont de Pedra in the centre of town. Although it is a central location, the hotel is quiet. The bar/restaurant does very nice lunchtime food at a very reasonable price. They weren't overly impressed with the idea of...

Modern, comfortable and well placed. I managed to park very close by with 'blue badge' but parking might be a problem. Very well placed and easy walk to all shops and squares and places of interest. Hotel has excellent and very reasonably priced restaurant where breakfast is served plus lunch and dinner. Very good for the price and I recommend...

We stayed here 3 nights as we enjoyed Girona so much. The staff were excellent and accomodating and even helped us book train tickets. The wifi is very patchy but apart from that I would highly recommend them. Great location as well. Right across the bridge from the old town and also near the shopping areas. Loved it
