Rooms are spacious and clean however it was disappointing that there was no coffee/tea making facilities in our room:(
The room was extremely hot for late November and the windows did not overlook the city but rather an unsightly gap between rooms and the air came in from above but it means there was not much air circulation from this. I did get a fan which worked well to cool the room down as the air conditioning also did not work either as it was set to hot for this time of year but when it was on neither cold or hot air came from it
We did have a safe where you pay €5 deposit for key and you get it back again when checked out
We paid for breakfast in the hotel one of the days which was €12. It was quite a lot for a small selection of buffet food but the food was nice and the waitress was friendly and helpful
The bar also closes at 8pm Saturday and is fully closed Sundays and Mondays so we never got to visit it
The beds in the room are very comfortable and the hotel is also very quiet so had a very nice sleep
The main thing I would like to point out is that the staff are a credit to the hotel and are very professional and friendly people.

An unexpected short break in early August to meet family over from Oz - we needed accommodation that was reasonably priced and to be able to get to Barcelona. Happenchance meant I booked here. Staff were fantastic (even accepting my broken Spanish though they all had excellent English). Room was comfortable, clean and quiet although central in modern part of city. Conveniently a bakery and good Tapas bar directly opposite main entrance. Market 5 minutes walk one way, Placa Independencia about the same distance the other, whilst the railway and bus stations were less than 10minutes (direct trains to Barcelona - use MD not AVE trains as vastly cheaper; whilst regular bus to airport for less then 3 euros). We'll certainly use this hotel again as a base for exploring the surrounding area as the transport links are so efficient.

Lovely modern hotel smack in the centre of Girona virtually on the river and within easy walking distance from the cathedral and ancient city wall. Public parking is a five minute walk away and the hotel has special arrangements for discounted rates. The room and bathroom are well equipped and immaculate. There is both a fridge and safe in the room. The lift is a little slow. Staff are efficient and spoke good English. I will stay there again when next in the town.

Perfectly located, Just off the river and close to the old town, 10 min walk from train station and 10 min walk to high street shops. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, happy to hold on to luggage, arrange taxi to airport (fixed fee taxi €40), point out where to visit etc. bar was busy although we just stayed for a coffee. We had a triple room which was great value, no kettle or fridge but we were only staying one night. Only disadvantage and this came from my daughter, no socket near bed for Charging phone!
Hotel key also gives access to back door which leads straight to river and bridge over to old quarter. Would highly recommend for a short break.

I spent a week here while attending a conference at the university. The hotel is conveniently located, very close to the old quarter and shopping, and only about 700 meters from the university and the train station There is an ATM across the street from one entrance, a convenience store across the street from the other entrance. The room was just right. The restaurant has a very nice breakfast buffet and serves gourmet lunches. (It is not open for dinner.) I spoke mostly Catalan with the staff but heard them speaking with other guests and on the telephone in good English and French. The staff are very nice and helpful.

Hotel has two exits onto different streets, both are just a few steps from bridges over the river. In additon to the cafes and small supermarket opposite it means that the many cafes and bars of the old town are very closeby.
Room was fine, good size, twin beds, big bathroom, room safe but not much of a view.
Breakfast was standard European fayre, breads, hams, cheeses etc.
Hotel was very popular with cyclists.

Easy 10 minute walk from the Girona train station. This hotel is very near the river, shops, and sights. Check in was smooth with English-speaking staff. The room was comfortable. We purchased the breakfast (extra 12/pp) buffet and it was delicious. It was nice that they allowed for stored baggage during the day while we explored the town.

Booking on line, you never know what your going to get, but as we were only staying one night I just picked one of the cheaper options on Booking.com. What a delightful surprise to find such a friendly , quality hotel.

Excellent value (we paid around €80 for a large double room in high summer)
An easy walk (less than 10 minutes) from the old town, just across the river, and vast plaza de la Independencia, a 'plaza mayor' surrounded by bustling cafes and bars).
Particularly friendly and helpful reception staff.
But the main value lies in the bedroom, large by any standards and with a commensurately large bathroom.
The decor - lighting, plenty of polished woodwork, a spacious desk - recalls the 1970s, while the large bathroom has the usual equipment, plus bath and - equally and agreeably old style - a bidet.

I stayed here for 2 nights. I was in Girona to watch football, Girona v Eibar in the 2nd Division of La Liga. I arrived by train from Barcelona. It took me less than 15 minutes to walk to the hotel. My room was relatively small but, it had every facility I needed for my stay apart from a tea and coffee facility. The breakfast was more than adequate with an excellent choice. The centre of Girona and the River Onyar is 5 minutes away and the Old Town and Cathedral 15 minutes away. It took me about 35 minutes to walk to the Montilivi Stadium home of Girona Football Club. Overall, I found Girona to be a gem of a place. It's a superb City to visit. I would recommend a stay at this hotel.

Yes, There ara a lot of possibilities around the hotel for breakfatd
Yes, there are several places to get breakfast and coffee very close to the hotel. We went to Pastisseria Elias, around the corner only 100 meters away. Use Google maps to see where you can go. There is also a food store right across the street, where we bought fresh fruit.
