Detailed Reviews
I do not think this is a hotel. There is a receptionist at the front door and then a dark set of stairs leading up to the rooms. On the first floor there are some chairs and some storage lockers. The rooms are adequate. The safe in our room did not work. Breakfast can be purchased and taken at a local cafe. Parking is a 5-10 min walk away in a good underground public car park and you get a discounted rate. The ‘rooms’ are well located for the town. Do check out the rates on this site as the price seemed to vary considerably depending on different days you look!!! Overall ok.

Location is good and the staff very nice and helpful. It's easy to find, they have a lift and the room was big enough. The hotel doesn't have much personality but it's practical, comfortable and reasonably priced. As for parking, they don't have it and although they get you a discount for a nearby parking lot, it can still be quite expensive.

We were only there for two nights on a stopover. The room was relatively small, but since we didn't have much luggage and were mainly on the move, it was a great fit. The furnishings are nice. Check-in was also possible at night and the service was still available by phone. The area is great, lots of options for breakfast and shopping. The old town is not far away either. The street is relatively busy until around 12 p.m. But after that it is very quiet and you can sleep with the window open. All in all, we are very satisfied.

We were delayed in France because of the SNCF strikes so found ourselves unexpectedly in Girona limping our way down to our holiday destination of Seville. We needed somewhere good value to stay having travelled across from France by Flixbus. We were arriving very late, around midnight into Girona. I booked online that evening. The process was straightforward. The self check-in was brilliant. The room itself was very clean as was the bathroom BUT the smell was absolutely toxic and overwhelming. I could not use the bathroom at all until we had run the shower empty and flung open the windows of the bedroom. I'm still slightly worried about my first breath on opening the bathroom door. Our room was 307. The only way we could brush our teeth and use the toilet was to cover the shower drain with the bathroom mat. We then closed the door and slept with the bedroom window wide open. The company MUST have known that room 307 had this problem so it is exceptionally disappointing that the room was allocated to us when the company knew this was a late and last minute booking. I dropped a line to the company via booking.com just before going to bed which understandably we did as soon as the fumes cleared enough fo us to breathe. In the morning I saw that the company offered us a different room but obviously I had not seen that message the previous night or rather the early hours of the morning. We would like a refund and have requested that but no response. Needless to say , we could not use the shower.

Solo traveller. Stayed for 3 nights in September 2024.
This is a nice little hotel not too far from the old town. The train/bus station is a 10/15 minute walk.
Don't arrive before 2pm as the reception isn't staffed, but there are lots of coffee/pastry shops nearby to wait.
The rooms are what you'd expect. Air con, free safe, fridge, tea/coffee & kettle and free wifi.
The hotel doesn't do breakfast but with so many pastry shops nearby it wasn't an issue.
I liked it. The staff are pleasant, and the location is pretty good.
I got the best price booking direct via the hotel's website.

Very conveniently located and good value accommodation. Good sized room with en-suite kettle for tea/coffee and also communal area with seating and further tea/cofffee making and microwave. No breakfast provided as such but complimentary mini croissants was a nice touch. Very clean. Friendly reception for part of the day.

Do read your email from the hotel explaining about arriving purists receptionists limited times! Otherwise you’ll
Not be able to access the hotel when you get there. Once in, it’s lovely. Small but perfectly formed. Friendly staff, really good domestic services- they work hard and it’s spotlessly clean. Very comfy beds and pillows, lovely fluffy towels. Handy features like hot drinks, water, access to a microwave, and free lockers to store your luggage are great.
Some traffic noise at times.
Easy 10 minute walk from the old
Town, and a bit less from
The station.

I got moved to this hotel from the sister hotel, due to room issue.
Location is great and it is clean, but very basic and the single rooms are very small. Even though when searching and booking I looked for a room with 2 people, because just me I was moved to a single bed room. I'm more than happy to pay for a lager room, I liked to enjoy my holiday and not be like a cramp in a room like an hamster.
Also the rooms are very dated, but clean.
The hotel was clean, but very basic. If you are on a budget and just want a bed for the night with no facilities (bar, breakfast, lounge) then this is OK.

Disappointingly, we had booked a room for 3 with a double bed and a single bed. The room is tiny, no double bed but 2 single beds and an armchair convertible into a bed… all this for €156… Twinbed and Queenbed not respected. The room is 20 m2 max… it looks like a hospital room

The hotel is well located, but not in the center. It's quiet.
It's not very luxurious but it's very comfortable.
Small room but with everything you need. Large and very comfortable bed.
Modern and very clean bathroom. Nice towels.
Coffee machine in the room and refrigerator.
There is also a common area where you can make yourself a coffee.
The only thing I didn't like is that they have signs that save water and then change your towel every day, even if you haven't used it.

In November 2016 I paid for taxi service around 30 euros. It took even a bit less than 30 minutes.
Hi.
We didn't have a car when we vere at the Condal, so I don't know for sure - but there is several public parkingplaces nearby.
As I remember it, dog is not allowed at the Condal.
Wifi is avaliable in bedrooms (you'll get a code for lock.inn).
And you can look forward to visit Girona and The Condal, it's really nice.
