Excellent hotel, room and servíces. This is a small hotel in the city centre, in a perfect location to visit all the city main attractions.
The room is large, very well decorated and full of small details that makes the stay an amazing experience. The bathroom is also nice, large and well equipped.
Breakfast was a three-course meal, starting with fruit, followed by cheese and ham, eggs, and finished with a lot of chocolate. The quality of the food is as expected from the owners of the restaurant.
In short, a wonderful place to stay.

Unassuming from the street, the staff in this delightful boutique hotel give you a genuine welcome.

Our room could not have been more comfortable, designed in beautiful tones to create a relaxing atmosphere. Bathroom was well laid out, plenty of space, excellent shower. Everything had obviously been well thought out.

I must make special mention of David, the Reception Manager. Unlike most hotels in busy cities he sent us a google hot link to the car park for our arrival which made our arrival so easy. Due to our very early departure for the airport the next morning he ensured we had the QR code to gain access and collect our car without delay. Unfortunately I managed to leave behind my favourite Gucci hat in our room and only discovered this once we were at the airport. I rang the unflappable David who calmly organised a cab to bring it to me in Departures within 25 minutes. I was so relieved.

We would definitely stay here again so we could enjoy the legendary breakfast on offer. The rooftop bar is lovely too.

Highly recommended.

As part of our culinary tour of Girona, "Girona Food Tours" (highly recommended!), our guide and founder Marc took us to Casa Cacao, the last creation of the Roca Brothers (El Celler de Can Roca) where we were treated to a tasting session by one of the masters in the pastry world, Damian Allsop. Damian was incredibly generous and shared wtih us the journey of the beans from remote indigenous villages in South America and elsewhere to Casa Cacao. Chocolate will never taste the same again... Following the tasting session we went next door to Casa Cacao Cafe for an insane display of "all things chocolate" pastries, incluidng the local delicacy Xuixo (insane!").

Hotel Boutique of very central location, spacious room, somewhat dark by the fact of facing a narrow street, the sink should be separated from the common area of sinks and shower, attentive staff. Very complete breakfast. Right dinner. Parking that you can reserve next to the hotel.

I booked Casa Cacao as part of a 5 day Cycling trip hosted by Eat Sleep Cycle (who are amazing).

I had no expectations and was floored by the experience. The property is perfectly suited on the square across from the bike shop and the staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

They have a small bike storage area downstairs (only 2 of us riding) that’s very convenient. The rooms are large and well appointed, tastefully done.

Breakfast was included and was something to write a separate review on - I have included pictures, you should try and reserve one hour for the whole daily experience. I quit eating lunch even after riding 4 hours it was so good.

While the property stands on it’s own as a 5 star hotel they are owned by El Cellar de Can Roca. We had lunch there and it was everything you can imagine.

We strayed here for 6 nights on a family holiday. Recommended by Amber & Christian from The Service Course, they said it was special. It is.

Modern and beautifully appointed rooms, spotlessly clean and very spacious.

Fantastic rooftop terrace, perfect for breakfast, daytime and evening, superb staff, friendly and very informative, but perfectly casual and informal.

Location is perfect, right on the river, everything in walking distance..... and of course the chocolate.! Wow.

As expected for a hotel owner by the Roca brothers of El Celler de Can Roca, the food was out of the world. A 7 course gourmet tasting breakfast was incredible, perfect way to spend a leisurely 90mins in the morning, but they were also able to create a less formal breakfast some days for us.

We will without question be back very soon (as soon as we can travel!!)

It is a boutique hotel, where the treatment of the staff is exquisite, as well as close. The location of the hotel is perfect for walking around the city. The rooms are cared for down to the last detail, their hotel terrace is especially nice, and they serve magnificent cocktails. Breakfast is excellent, since you can enjoy the gastronomy of the Roca brothers, especially Jordi, one of the best pastry chefs in the world, when it comes to working with cocoa. Don't miss it, it's fantastic.

Anna and all the hotel team! The reception, the terrace, Sacha, everybody! You are amazing and ao professional, we travel a lot and it was the place we felt like with our family and friends. Thank you for this!
The chocolate factory, Demian, the chocolate shop, and bar - Bravo for this creation of a new world that gives your visitors a complete and holistic adventure.
The restaurant El Celler de Can Roca - what can we say? A dream comes true! Thank you for this overwhelming adventure. This time in the restaurant was something we won't forget, a journey in different universes, passion, love, perfection, inspiration. All the dishes we tasted were extraordinary, and like we told Jordi, in your restaurant we tasted the best dessert we had tasted till now! Bravo to all of you!! I gave the hotel 5* as there was no 6* option available ! My favourite of all the European hotels we have stayed in. What an absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end from a hotel that was stylish yet comfortable and extremely well run .
We arrived before check in time but having previously asked what time we were arriving and arranged a taxi to meet us at the airport they actually did something useful with the information and our room was ready for check in. Similarly we were asked what time we wanted breakfast, obviously to assist the kitchen but also so it transpired that our room was serviced while we ate breakfast and we came back to a fresh clean and tidy room.
The breakfasts were amazing. We had the gourmet breakfast the first morning and it lasted us until dinner! It was all delicious although the deep fried poached egg in a wild mushroom sauce was the best breakfast dish I’ve ever had. Sublime. The other mornings the breakfast choices were equally delicious and generous .On the day we left we were provided with a lovely breakfast bag .
A special shout out for the staff from the lovely lady who managed the hotel, charming and informative, to the friendly staff at breakfast and the lovely young lady who made the cocktails.
I would happily stay here again.

Excellent hotel; the team is very attentive to your needs and requests, always trying to help and accomodate. The rooms are spacious, very well decorated with all the facilities. Right in the center of now, in walking distance. They even take care of a parking lot immediately next to the hotel (for a very reasonable fee). In short - one of the best hotels out there
