We used this hotel in Girona as the base of operations to view sites outside of Barcelona such as Montserrat and the Dali sites Figueres and Cadaques. It was then convenient to retrace our steps to go to Barcelona. Small hotel with large rooms. The breakfasts were good. The staff was friendly, could speak English, and were helpful. Just a...

This hotel was recommended by a colleague and I chose this hotel with confidence because of the raving reviews from TripAdvisor. On the plus side, the location is great! close to the cafes, restaurants and shops. The decor is trendy minimalist, which I like. We were assigned to room 1.3. The room was dark and I instinctively opened the shades....

Just a five minute walk to the river/old city, this hotel is in a great location for enjoying Girona. Very safe, clean, contemporary. Better to select room which is not facing the so-called interior 'courtyard'.Pool was not really a swimming pool but in hotter months probably ok to hang out by, but small. Not extraordinary hotel, but so well positioned...

We just loved our stay in this hotel. Very tasteful decor in the bedroom, fittings and style right up to date , also bonus of fluffy bathrobes, slippers, and a really comfortable bed. It was so lovely to come back to after being out all day. Fantastic location, busy square round the corner for coffee or drinks and lots of...

Conveniently located in the heart of the city, walking distance to el call, cathedral, Jewish museum, passeig de la muralla, and many more. Rooms are comfortably sized and the hotel has a parking arrangement (chargable) with a nearby underground garage. Excellent restaurants just around the corner (8de7, Neptu). And don't forget to check out the lovely desserts cafe Rocambolesc!

Great welcome, very good service, fantastic location - we booked a junior suite and were given a lovely room overlooking the small pool garden. Very comfortable and quiet. We did not have breakfast in the hotel as there are many cafes around to choose from. Highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is really well located in the old town near the Independent Square with its restaurant sand just over the river from the old city. The hotel itself is an old building but facilities and rooms are very modern. The staff were really helpful and advising us on places to eat and where today to make the most of...

Lovely hotel although didn't supply milk for the tea and coffee - we first thought they must have missed it on the first day but it never came! Pool area is very tranquil and relaxing and it's so close to everything

Visited for a week and stayed in the Nord 1901. We stayed in a well appointed junior suite overlooking the tranquil garden and pool area. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and offered great advice on places to eat nearby. This hotel is in a great location - so close to the old town and the buzzy central square....
