Managed by the Hotel Ciutat de Girona, Del Vi apartments offers beautiful accommodations right in the middle of the old part of the city. Rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped with all necessary comforts, including kitchenettes. Reception staff is friendly and professional and they replied promptly to emails when we contacted them with some questions prior to our stay. The biggest plus is the location, in a beautiful "placa", across from the city hall, in an apartment building, you feel like you belong. And everything is steps away, The Onyar River houses, the bridges, the Cathedral, La Muralla, The Jewish Quarter to name a few. Restaurants, cafes and shops are literally at your doorstep, including Xocolateria L'antiga with their delicious hot chocolate. Parking is available nearby, we used SABA aparcamientos Berenguer I Carnicer, a 5 minutes walk. Since we visited during the first week of January, the city had a festive atmosphere, with holiday lights and decorations and artisan markets.

This was very much a last minute booking for a quick weekend away. We had seen the apartments on line and were sceptical given the cost which was only €218 for two nights in a deluxe apartment. With some apprehension we checked in at the hotel that the apartments are affiliated to walked across the bridge to the old town. Wow, what a find. A total bargain. Two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, towels, robes, hairdryer, slippers, washing machine and tumble dryer, a gorgeous balcony overlooking Place Del Vi and the best location to sight see and wander round Girona. Highly recommend this exceptional apartment!!

Just wow! An amazing apartment in the old town and close to a lot of restaurants and bars. The apartment is brilliant. Well furnished with all amenities such as washing-machine, dryer, dishwasher , utensils etc!
There is free parking 10 mins walk away or paid parking nearer.

We stayed here for 5 nights, and took the train from Barcelona, which is fast and comfortable. Check in is at Hotel Ciutat de Girona, a 4 star hotel which in on the other side of the river. Although only a 5 minute walk away, the route is cobbled and over a bridge, so not ideal if you have suitcases or mobility issues. It was a problem for us, and we ended up calling a taxi for the short journey, as there was no one at the hotel to help. Although there were just the 2 of us, I had booked the largest apartment (3 bed/2 bath) because this seemed to have an outside terrace. It is a lovely apartment with lots of space and is bright and airy. The location is of course in the old town, which is gorgeous, and the building itself is beautiful. Our apartment was on the top floor, with 2 terraces. (Luckily there is a lift.) A tiny kitchen area with a table and 2 chairs, and another roof top terrace (which isn’t really overlooked) with a table and 4 chairs. The roof terrace is accessed via one of the bedrooms and gets plenty of sun. (A sun lounger would have been ideal). The bathrooms are an unusual design, and the air conditioning seemed to circulate the smell of cooking (we turned it off). Otherwise, the apartment is well presented and larger than the photos suggested to me. Fully equipped and practical, it was also comfortable and relaxing. You can never be sure when hiring apartments, as peoples expectations/choices differ so much, but I was delighted with this choice. Girona is a beautiful town, and we really enjoyed our stay.

What a nice place for two couples. It was a little hard to find at first. They should provide a better description as to how to get there and how to get in. The doors are wooden and kind of blend in with the surrounding restaurants. We figured it out. It’s a great location, you can walk everywhere. The only reason it did not get a 5 star was that the carpets had stains and the Ac wasn’t great…but that is being nit picky.. it had plenty of space for us and we enjoyed it.

Beautiful, very well equipped apartment, light and spacious. Little balcony overlooking placa which was always bustling. Best appointed kitchen ever, nice touch of welcome pack in the fridge plus coffee etc. Great location too.

The apartments are in the old town in front of the maire They are beatiful, modern, super clean and with all the facilities you can need It’s a like if you were at you home with total luxury You have to checkin at the hotel which is at 3 minutes walk They way there is across the river and you already get a view of how beautiful the city is The staff is really helpful, kind and help you in anything if you need to They booked a table for us in a wonderful place next to the apartments Definitely we’ll stay there again if we go to Girona A must!!!!!

I have stayed in many apartments in my life, but this one was the best one! It is spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable sofa, super clean kitchen and bathroom, big bed. It is right in front of the town hall, in the middle of the old town close to the river. We had two bikes and we were allowed to keep them in the living room.

Decided last minute to go to Girona and saw this had the highest ratings. And no wonder! Excellent location within the old town, modern and complete amenities, great for families and helpful staff. Excellent alternative to a hotel stay!
Only downsides are price - on the website we anticipated 450€ but ended up paying 520€ - and parking. There's none at the premises but we were provided specific directions and the free parking available was a 5-7 minute walk to the apartment. Max of 6 occupants only.

We picked this place almost at random, and genuinely couldn't believe our luck. Beautiful apartment, gorgeous location, right in the middle of Girona old town, and perfectly equipped. From the Krups Nespresso compatible coffee machine in the kitchen, to the bathrobes waiting for us in the cupboard. Even a shopping bag & umbrella (what a great touch) The whole apartment was really comfortable and immaculately clean. The styling of the place was well thought out, excellent storage, I loved the bathroom basin & drawers which were stocked with plenty of towels. The balcony in the living room overlooks the square opposite the town hall. We had a ring side seat for the Fires de Sant Narcis. An exciting festival in the Gironan calendar. The comfort of the apartment & it's central location made it a haven between bar & restaurant hopping, shopping & sightseeing. The sound proofing provided by the doors front & back had to be seen to be believed. It was amazing.
We had a fabulous time here & the apartment was very much part of that.
