Great and abundant breakfast, wonderful people, felt like home in Barcelona! We stayed at Amiga after spending one night at a Holiday Inn, and ohhh what a difference. At Amiga, Margarita welcomed us sooooooo warmly, and spending three days there was such a perfect way to see the city and come 'home' in the evening. At a typical hotel you...

I arrived at Amiga Barcelona B&B on short notice but Margarita was very kind to arrange a room for me, for which I'm so grateful. Thanks also to Ariadna Moner, a friend of ours, for the introduction! Arriving in sunny Barcelona was just incredible. Amiga Barcelona is in a quiet neighborhood and close to two metro stations and to several...

My boyfriend and I had been traveling for close to a month and Barcelona was our final stop. We wanted to end with delicious food, drink and fun. We selected Amiga B&B because we wanted a cozy, unique place to return to after exploring the hot, bustling city. Amiga B&B was that and much, much more. The first full day...

Margarita and Amiga Barcelona were a god send! After spending three and a half weeks traveling in Turkey and Morocco my gf and I arrived in Barcelona ready to spend our last three days of our trip eating, drinking, and exploring Barcelona. From the moment we arrived at Amiga Barcelona we realized we were in a prime position to do...

First, I have to agree with all the other reviewers. If you like a traditional hotel room, this is not the place to be. I can't say we had a bad experience here. The only problem was that the photos on the site are looking very different than in reality. We were 2 couples in 2 double rooms, with the...

First, if you are looking for a traditional hotel room, en suite and with institutional appeal, Amiga Barcelona is not for you. We had the most incredible home-like experience at Amiga Barcelona! It is a 140 year old building with original architecture, original artwork, as the proprietor Margarita is a collector, and has an authentic feel of old Spain. Margarita...

My husband and I stayed for 3N/4Days at the Amiga B&B. We felt completely at home, thanks to Margarita who welcomed us warmly and ensured that we had everything we needed. We felt as though we were being welcomed into her home rather than a commercial enterprise. The easy connectivity of the B&B with the rest of the city was...

Among the many positives of Amiga is its proprietor, Margarita... knowledgeable, helpful and accessible. A nicely sized dining area has fruit and teas, cookies and other food items available for a late night snack; the building is very nearby a Metro station, making it very easy to get into and out of the city center, and most wonderful is that...

Ms Magarita is a very nice lady. We love to stay in Amiga and the breakfast is good! Cookies and fruits serve all day. Amiga situated in a silent area and it is safe to live there. We can enjoy good sleep after one day walk in Barcelona.
