We spent 5 days in Barcelona recently, and found Amiga Barcelona to be the perfect base, despite the fact that it is a little way out of the city centre. This makes it quieter, and after a short walk from the nearest metro stop, it was worth it! Margarita is a wonderful host, there wasn't anything she wouldn't do to...

Stayed for 4 nights at Amiga while attending a conference. Very friendly host and great breakfast. There is always something small to eat, room was very clean with a good bed, all necessary facilities were present. I arrived late, which was no problem at all. Slightly on the outskirts of Barcelona, but the metro is a few minutes away, never...

I've stayed at Amiga Barcelona last year with a friend and was simply amazed by the place. Nice location close to the underground, so homy and welcoming. Rooms are decorated with style which vary from romantic for couples to cosy twins. Shared bathroom always available and perfectly clean. Breakfast is second to none and can often compete with 5 star...

This is a lovely B&B. It is tucked away just a metro ride from all the attractions of Barcelona but you really feel that you are in the less touristy bit of the city. Margarita is the perfect host. Nothing is to much trouble and the breakfasts are truly amazing! Our room was clean but basic and although we didnt...

I could not have had a better stay in Barcelona at this friend, cosy and family owned B&B. The rooms were big, clean and really cosy and breakfast was just plenty. Not to forget that Margarita, the owner, is an amazing host who knows her city inside-out. I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone, who wishes to...

This very clean, homely BnB is in a fantastic location, and Margarita really made our stay by helping us find good restaurants and looking after us like family. Great breakfast too. I would definitely stay here again and reccommend it to anyone. Thank you Margarita!! :)

I don't think I have ever had so much enjoyment just from the place I was staying as I did at Amiga Barcelona - or, as we quickly came to think of it, Margarita's place. Margarita's warm welcome made us feel comfortable and at home in this wonderful place filled with art and antiques and interesting 'objets' of all kinds....

We stayed a total of 6 nights at this lovely B & B. It felt just like home. Dona Margarita went out of her way to be helpful to us upon our arrival and gave us many tips of where to eat and what to see etc. She made us feel like we were in our home! One is surrounded...
