Bed comfortable.Bathroom dated..shower was in bath had to climb over bath tub to get in this could be a problem if not so mobile..nothing to hold on to to get in.Could hear toilets being flushed close by.Noisy outside but once balcony window shut all noise had gone.Lovely coffee and croissants in morning.

Six of us stayed here in readiness for a cruise from Barcelona the next day. When two rooms were on offer for two of our group, we elected the room at the back of the hotel, hoping it would be quieter. We were right, but for the wrong reasons. Two of our party had a nice balcony room overlooking the...

My first visit to Barcelona and was travelling alone, therefore a bit wary about booking a central hotel. This place was perfect, a lovely welcome from reception staff, friendly staff at breakfast and housekeeping. The room was very clean and good selection of toiletries. Breakfast was 4 euros for coffee, orange juice, croissant and preserves.

The hotel has a simple standard, but good for a two star hotel. Friendly staff and clean rooms. The location is great with only 30m to walk to La Rambla. If you are on a budget holiday this is definitely a place to consider.

Located off LaRamblas basically a 1 minute walk. Staff were extremely helpful with directions and assistance with our travel plans and itinerary. Room was basic but clean quiet and easy to get to. Asked for kettle and cups to make tea and nothing was a problem. Good wifi available at all times!

Booked this last minute but still got a good price. Just of the Main Street down a little alleyway. Staff very friendly and helpful and room decent size and very clean. Aircon not working so had to open balcony doors which made it noisy, but overall for an overnight stay not bad.

Can't get better in terms of location. So close to La Rambla & Boqueria market (2 min walk). Just step outside and that's it - you are walking the Gothic quarter. Can't beat that. The staff is friendly. Rooms are clean but very very simple. My room was a double room for single use, so a nice double bed but...

Just back from Barcelona, thank you Hotel Condal, had a lovely time in your hotel, impressed with its central location,-just off the Ramblas & our room with street view & double glazed for quietness. The beds were comfortable and everywhere clean and welcoming. Good value. We'll be back, soon I hope!

I have to say the location of this hotel was very good, and we were given everything that we had asked for such as a quiet room. The rooms were smallish (I have stayed in smaller) and the room was very clean. I would say the down side was the bathroom, it wasn't easy to get in and out of...

My husband and I stayed here recently for a midweek trip to Barcelona. We were unsure how the hotel would be due to the star rating, however we were pleasantly surprised! While this hotel is very basic, it provides you with the necessary items you need for a comfortable stay. Staff was very friendly and did not hesitate to help...
