The perfect place to stay when visiting Barcelona. The hotel is at walking distance from the main attractions, but at safe distance from their noise and crowds. You will find plenty of typical restaurants close by. Our room was cozy, spacious and spotless. If breakfast is not included you can try the Escribà bakery just in front of the hotel. It is a cheaper option, but the hotel breakfast offers more at a higher quality. The guy at the reception was extremely nice and gave us useful tips that contributed to a wonderful Barcelona experience. Recommended!
I was very happy to stay in this hotel and Roberto and the whole team are great people very good. Location is one of the best places I ever been in thank you guys.Carlos here and actually, the city is great
Travelled between 30 Dec - 8 Jan 2023. Selected this hotel because it is right beside Urgell Metro station and near to Aerobus stop for convenience. Staff were all super helpful and friendly, extended any assistance to me when necessary. Lift was also very fast. Unfortunately aircon doesn’t seem to be working well but opening the window during winter was effective enough unless there are noise in the public on New Year’s Eve. Room was clean. Overall hotel as a whole and the room were pretty but the lights adjustment wasn’t user friendly: adjusting the lights will turn off the toilet lights, happened twice while wife was still in toilet. The holder for toilet paper rolls were also very low, at an unnatural angle to reach for it while one is at the toilet bowl, worse if you’re tall.…
Amazing place and a great surprise with this hotel. Located at the door of the metro Urgell, a 3 minutes walking to Aerobús stop to go to the airport. Kind staff, nice and very helpful. The room was super clean
Honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough. The location is perfect for a short walk into the centre of Barcelona and we did not find it to be noisy at night. The staff were excellent and very friendly, even warning us about pick pocket crime that is quite frequent in some of the areas. The room was lovely, the entire hotel has a romantic feel to it due to the dimmed lighting. It is very visually aesthetic and we honestly could not believe that it is a budget hotel- it felt very expensive. We even got a free upgrade on arrival which was amazing. The room was spacious and we loved the design of the bathroom with the open view shower (it is adjustable). We even used the pool in December! We would definitely come and stay again, and would recommend to anyone on a budget that is looking for an elegant hotel, with excellent value for money, to stay at.…
The one thing that really makes this hotel standout is the quality of the staff. They were very accommodating to make it possible to stay an extra night in the same room as I had forgotten I was supposed to checkout that day. Upon confirming that I needed an extra night, they dropped me a very nice note informing me that all had been sorted and to enjoy the day.
This is a modern, designer hotel which is on a major avenue called the Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes and very close to the Urgell metro station. The excellent people at the reception desk starting from our first day, day and night were always in a good mood when greeting us (note that you can also on-line check in to this hotel before you arrive, which implies no waiting at the reception desk, and you can be certain they know how to execute this procedure), were very helpful and were quite informative in pointing us to excellent spots for lunch/dinner. The breakfast with a lot of fruit, beverage and croissant varieties, among other things, was extremely good. Our room was looking to the patio for the residents of the square block along one side of which the building associated with the hotel lied. As such, our room was very quiet at night. Although the hotel is not at the very center (i.e., Barri Gotic) , it is within walking distance to many attractions. We preferred to walk everywhere including Barceloneta and Sagrada Familia, but opted for the teleferic to Mountjuic after having visited the Miro Museum. We were lucky in that the weather was bright and sunny with reasonable temperatures in early December. Highly recommended to those interested in not staying at the very touristic city center.…
A nice hotel, with a perfect location to experience Barcelona. The service was excelent, we had a great stay! The room was nice, with a good and comfortable bed, a mini bar and enough storage opportunities.
Excellent hotel, great staff, good breakfast, good location. It was very quiet at our room. You could walk to all the sites. Good restaurants around the area. Taxi is easy to get, train station is near. Weather was good.
The staff of the Soho is attentive and always ready to help. With special commendation to Roberto who has made our experience unique with amazing tips of the service and making sure our stay was flawless. It was my girl’s big 30 and we had a wonderful night with a special treat from the hotel :))) What can I say about the location? It is basically at the heart of Barca, at walking distance or just a few metro stops from literally every main point of the city. Also very easy to get to and from the airport. The price is not the lowest and at great rates for all of what the hotel has to offer, including a rooftop pool!!! I’ve loved the design, minimalistic yet functional. The mattress is firm, not hard not soft, the way I love it! In summary, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!
