This hotel is really well situated, a 10 minute walk from Plaza Catalunya and 15 to Las Ramblas. In the evening the street is pretty quiet in the night but if you don't like noise maybe ask for a room at the back. The noise did not affect us at all though. The hotel is really nicely designed, the rooms...

Stayed here for some nights when visiting Barcelona in December 2016. The location is very good, with a metro stop nearby and La Rambla a quick walk from the hotel. Many good restaurants in the area! The staff were English speaking, helpful and polite. The room with bathroom was clean and spacious, although the view was pretty dull. Complimentary bottled...

Stayed four nights and would stay here again. Modern, clean, spacious room. Comfy bed, quiet room temperature control system, quick and good size elevators. Staff young and helpful. Breakfast limited but very tasty and located in a very popular bar-restaurant. Excellent location close to: Jaume 1 metro station, many restaurants, bakeries and tourist sites. The only drawback affected me only...

Right location and price/quality proportion. Great terrace with nice view. Many restaraunt in walking distance. Quite far from beach, but situates inside historic part of the town, right near of many touristic areas.

I was there for a couple of days with work and was feeling pretty under the weather, the staff were great, the check-in was super smooth and they even changed my room upon request no questions asked. I would highly recommend this hotel, the location is great and unbeatable price for the well-sized, clean rooms. The free bottled water is...

The location is excellent. The rooms are clean and newly renovated. But the bed is hard. Pillows are scarce. Few minor problem but all fixed. The staff is not rude but is not friendly either. Noise from the street on Friday night. Overall, for tourism short stay, not a bad choice.

Arrived on the Monday, staff reception easy and pleasant, room was basic but very clean and spacious with plenty of towels and red hot shower, little things to help the traveller were tooth brush toothpaste shaver and cream for the gents with lots of shower gel. It was a wee bit cold in the night (November) so next day we...

Just returned from a long weekend here. Great central location hotel. Just a short walk up the street to nearest metro station (Jaume I) which I would recommend if travelling to Barcelona to use the metro for value & how efficient it is. Also very easy to understand. The hotel was very comfortable with spacious room. Very very clean &...

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
