On a perfect spot near the famous Rambla and the Plaça de Cataluyna. The "old" Barcelona can be visited on foot without any difficulties. Very friendly staff, quiet rooms. All you can wish, you get it !
Right from making a reservation till checking out, staying at the Casa Camper has been a dream experience. The Front Office Staff was a dream team. Adaia, Pablo, Enrique and a couple of gentlemen (i'm sorry I didn't quite get their names) we so efficient, kind, friendly and prompt and even sorted out the PCR tests mix up I had just before flying out. The rooms were clean, bright, very luxurious and comfortable and the housekeeping staff was amazing. The breakfast was great, there were lots of choices and the service staff were very accommodating. The entire staff made sure we had an unforgettable experience. All in all, the stay was nothing short of perfect! Barcelona is one of my favourite cities and I will definitely be back!
First, the location is amazing, just a minute walk from Rambla, about 15 easy minute walk from the marine, Picasso museum etc. You can really walk anywhere, beside Guell park. The hotel was very clean and well equipped. The shower was great (but no door... keep that in mind) and there was a separated resting area for each room, unlocked with the room key. The staff was attentive, kind and very helpful. After two breakfast meals they remembered the kind of coffee we wanted and brought it to our table the next days without us asking. There is always free food and drinks at the lobby, and that's nice when you come back after a long day. Breakfast is good, and you can ask for eggs, pancakes etc. The hotel has a free WI-Fi and also gave us a little transmitter that allows us to use the Wi-Fi anywhere outside the hotel. That's thoughtful. We paid a really fair price for this wonderful hotel and Casa Camper is definitely my first recommendation to anyone staying at Barcelona.…
This hotel was a gem of a find! The location was great - within walking distance of La Rambla and easy access to Gothic Quarter, metro, La Boqueria Market and many other sites! The staff was amazingly kind and eager to accommodate our requests. After one night, we asked for a change of rooms to allow for our daughter to stay with us and they were very kind to make this work. It was so nice to have the complimentary breakfast and delicious snacks available throughout the day . Our favorite part was coming back late afternoon and enjoying the beautiful rooftop terrace with snacks and honesty bar. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Barcelona!
Family trip - 4 nights - two rooms - double and twin - will book again for next trip to Barcelona! Great base for sightseeing. From initial email correspondence with Mariam, to check-in with Enzo/Vlad and every interaction in the week we stayed, the staff were terrific. Nothing was too much trouble and each member made us feel like family, rather than another room number. The rest of the front desk team (Mariano, Pablo and Enrique) and the team that looked after breakfast and complimentary snacks throughout the day (Coty, Yanina, Dani, Cristina and Gloria) all contributed to making our first stay in Barcelona so memorable. Breakfast was included in the rate and there was a wide choice of juices, yogurts, cereals, cheeses, meats, breads, tea/coffee etc. and also cooked breakfasts - I'd scrambled eggs one morning. After each day of sightseeing, it was such a treat to be able to change shoes, relax on the roof terrace, with snacks and drinks, and enjoy the late evening sunshine. All snacks and soft drinks are complimentary - alcohol is also available as an honesty bar. This facility was great as often we didn't eat until later (when in Barcelona...) and the terrace snacks plugged the gap in the interim. Our room looked out on the "vertical garden" - not a vista that you'll sit and admire but better than a bare wall. We spent the days sightseeing so a view wasn't a priority for us. Our bedroom did have an "interior" feel as the only window looked out on the "vertical garden" from the bathroom section. However, our "living room" (across the hall) overlooked the street but we seldom availed of it, preferring the rooftop terrace as a venue to relax and socialise together. Rooms are functional with usual amenities (TV, hairdryer, aircon, USB charger, safe etc.) and shower has rainfall, handset and bidet settings. Proximity to La Rambla and Pl de Catalunya (5 mins walk) is a real benefit as regards navigating the city. There is a Michelin-starred restaurant attached to the hotel but my family weren't adventurous enough to justify the €100 tasting menu. There's also a couple of pool tables and a cocktail bar in the basement. This was our first time to Barcelona and Casa Camper will be top of the our list for accommodation for our next visit. Well done to all the staff involved.…
