Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is modern and is well located. We enjoyed the complimentary water and coffee. Although the room was small it was cosy and comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Great hotel!!! Room with everything you need. The breakfast is excellent. The people at the reception desk always ready to help you and give you reccomendations. The hotel is located near plaza cataluña (4 blocks walking distance).
We stayed at this hotel for three nights. It was located in a great area, close to public transportation. The staff was good. The only complaints I have are the noise from the street (which happens all night long), although this is not the hotels...More
All areas Veryvclean, although bathroom furniture could have done with upgrading. Great free coffee and water, very friendly helpful staff nothing to much trouble for any of them. Good location to see all the sights.

Hello, I am not a hotel administrator, and I have no idea how much they charge for a taxi pick up. I travelled from Girona airport, and I can tell you a shuttle round trip ticket from Girona airport is about 21euro or so. You will come to the bus station (final stop) and it will take you a 2 minute walk to get to metro station which is 3 stops away from Universitat metro station which is in front of the hotel. There will be a shuttle from the airport at that hour, I also came late I remember. If metro is closed you may take a taxi from the bus station to the hotel, it will cost you about 8 euro + tips. Enjoy your trip, Barcelona is so wonderful!
