We spent 11 days at the Hotel Travessera and it was a great experience. Since we could not speak Spanish we were thankful that all the desk staff could speak english. We needed help with many different things from directions to different places, to assistance in finding an apartment. Each request was handled with a smile and great advice. I...

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights with my family.Didn't pay much for our staying and also didn't expect much but I'm really surprised how great experience it was! Hotel Travessera has got good location only 10mins to Park Guell and walkable distance to Sagrada Familia. Room itself was good sized and same with the bathroom, nice and clean.Polite...

The good points: - comfy beds - large rooms - air con - free wifi - towels and toiletries - friendly staff - daily cleaning (the hotel in general is very clean) - TV (all Spanish but nonetheless entertaining) - breakfast restaurant (have the €10.50 buffet option, not bad at all) - plenty of wardrobe space - numerous supermarkets and...

This hotel offers no surprises. Very basic, everything is in the right place, good prices and location, easy to get to using public transportation and accessible to all the great things Barcelona has to offer. I wanted to write this review because the night audit clerk, Elisabeth, was extremely friendly and helpful. She even made me green tea with honey...

This would be a good option for those on a shoestring budget. The room was clean, only two single beds available when I had booked a double room. It was not sound proof at all, we could hear doors opening in the halls all night. It had great access to public transit, but parking was very expensive and it was...

Travessera may not be the most famous or luxurious hotel in Barcelona but it perfectly capable of giving you a good room for one month or more or less, The staff is definitely very friendly and kind. The food is also amazing and always traditional. The hotel is conveniently situated near Park Guell and also it is next to a...

Firstly, if you are staying at this hotel it is more than 1km from Alfons X Metro and uphill. We arrived at Passeig de Gracia and should have taken a taxi from there. Metro too hard to follow and too many stairs when you have luggage. The Hop on hop off Barcelona Bus stops out the front and the Turistic...

Stayed in an apartment with friends for two nights. Apartment was sound: clean, tidy, well maintained. The balcony was a good feature as 1 of the party was a smoker. An easy spot to get around the city, a 7-8 min walk from Alfons X station. Very close to Park Guell as well. Very good value, no frills accommodation.

It might be so that you have to accept the forces of the market, but it does hurt to have to pay 4 times as much as it is worth and then some (breakfast not included) just because you need a place to sleep. Leaving that fact aside, Travessera is decently located not far from the Guell park. Nice and...
