The good points: - comfy beds - large rooms - air con - free wifi - towels and toiletries - friendly staff - daily cleaning (the hotel in general is very clean) - TV (all Spanish but nonetheless entertaining) - breakfast restaurant (have the €10.50 buffet option, not bad at all) - plenty of wardrobe space - numerous supermarkets and... This hotel offers no surprises. Very basic, everything is in the right place, good prices and location, easy to get to using public transportation and accessible to all the great things Barcelona has to offer. I wanted to write this review because the night audit clerk, Elisabeth, was extremely friendly and helpful. She even made me green tea with honey... More

This would be a good option for those on a shoestring budget. The room was clean, only two single beds available when I had booked a double room. It was not sound proof at all, we could hear doors opening in the halls all night. It had great access to public transit, but parking was very expensive and it was... More

Travessera may not be the most famous or luxurious hotel in Barcelona but it perfectly capable of giving you a good room for one month or more or less, The staff is definitely very friendly and kind. The food is also amazing and always traditional. The hotel is conveniently situated near Park Guell and also it is next to a... More

Firstly, if you are staying at this hotel it is more than 1km from Alfons X Metro and uphill. We arrived at Passeig de Gracia and should have taken a taxi from there. Metro too hard to follow and too many stairs when you have luggage. The Hop on hop off Barcelona Bus stops out the front and the Turistic... More

Stayed in an apartment with friends for two nights. Apartment was sound: clean, tidy, well maintained. The balcony was a good feature as 1 of the party was a smoker. An easy spot to get around the city, a 7-8 min walk from Alfons X station. Very close to Park Guell as well. Very good value, no frills accommodation.

It might be so that you have to accept the forces of the market, but it does hurt to have to pay 4 times as much as it is worth and then some (breakfast not included) just because you need a place to sleep. Leaving that fact aside, Travessera is decently located not far from the Guell park. Nice and... More

Very cozy, friendly and lovely rooms with a view to a nice park from my room! I had one of the best sleeps during my stay, beds are super comfortable and my room was nice and quiet! The staff couldn't be nicer and more helpful. Delicious breakfast, several options! Just a couple of meters from the metro station and even... More

As a family of 4, visiting Barcelona for a weekend city break, we wanted somewhere as a base only as we expected to be out for most of the days/evenings. Check in was easy and we were shown to our room. As we had requested a quad room, we were showed to the apartments next door. The building and the decor... More
