Not the best but not the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Cheap and cheerful and perfect for what we needed. The reception staff are friendly and the reception is open 24hours per day.
Rooms are small but clean and cleaned daily. The walls...More
Four of us stayed here, top floor end room. Big room with TV. Fairly basic, but nice and clean. Breakfast is in the 365 café next door. The 365 staff seem a bit miserable there, but nice croissants (2 each) and orange juice and a...More
The only reason why you should stay here is because of its location. Focus on the word only. Yes that's the ONLY reason.

Front desk staff spoke fluent English and were very friendly and helpful.
Overall, good value and well worth a try.

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
