We had a very pleasant stay at Constanza. Lovely rooms, and we had a balcony looking out on to the street. Staff had good recommendations of places for tapas. One negative point is that you could hear noises from other rooms, for example when other people are showering you could feel the vibrations of the water going through pipes. Location... More

This is a great hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful, it is easy walking distance to the centre of the old city and less than 10 minutes walk to Catalunya Square. The rooms are great. It is really quiet. We stayed 6 nights and with a special deal from Booking.com it made it a great buy. The only downside is that... More

Stayed at Constanza for the Grand Prix and were able to enjoy not only the event but also Barcelona from this wonderful location. The rooms themselves are absolutely beautiful with marvellous facilities including brilliant waterfall showers! The terrace balcony was very small, but just this little space and the option to open the windows were very welcome. The staff were... More

Nice, clean and very streamlined hotel. We didn't try the breakfast but the rooftop terrace is really cool with great views. Also, the staff were very nice and very helpful. Great location with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.

Returning to the Hotel Constanza after a busy day of touring Barcelona was a calming relief. It was close to all of the attractions but seemed set apart from the frantic pace of the city. The lobby was very zen, the rooms clean and refreshing and the staff accommodating. It is a little expensive but we felt it was worth... More

This small hotel is well located, very clean, simple decorations and yet a large room We appreciated the simplicity, great balcony, and good location - side street, yet close to shopping and transportation. A very good bar/restaurant is attached, and many other choices within a short walk.

The hotel offers reasonable value in a location that is away from the busiest areas of the city but still within a comfortable distance to many of the major sights. The décor is modern with pale walls and dark brown wood effect furniture. Our room (308) wasn’t particularly large but was sufficient for our needs. It had a flat screen... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
