Good 4 star Hotel - Ramblas only 20 min. in walking distance. Free WIFI. Very clean. Next year I will stay again in Barcelona and will book this Hotel once more. Several Bars for getting breakfast nearby. Monjuic 15 min. walking distance. Barceloneta 30 min. walking distance - very nice and clean beaches.

The hotel room had dirty carpet so if you stay bring slippers, one bed was like a murphy style bed which was extremely uncomfortable, furniture was also stained, smelled like smoke, the best thing about the room was the bathroom which didn't seem like it belonged with the room. The staff was rude especially a man named Issac! We had... More

This place is a good looking hotel overlooking a busy street, but I discovered the first night that it wasn't really in an ideal spot. My wife and I are both young, so we didn't mind the walking, but walking was a little inconvenient when it started raining. It was about 15 minutes to the Plaza Catalunya and 30 minutes... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Amister. The staff were very helpful and all the people on the front desk spoke english. The rooms were modern and the beds were kingsize. Very quiet even though we were facing the main street we slept well for our 3 nights there. I would recommend the breakfast buffet as it was quite extensive... More

Hotel is very nice.About 20mins walk form La Rambla which is the centre of action in the city. Breakfast in the Hotel was very good,it was €10 pps + vat(all prices in this hotel are without taxes). It's a pity that they don't do evening meals. There's only a bit poor room service..Sandwich from it costs €6(again-without vat).Cleanliness overall was good, except the... I was abit worried after reading certain reviews. However we had such an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is central and walking distance to popular places like the Rambla, Passieg de Gracia and so on. We enjoyed our stay and we definately look forward to returning.

Where do I begin... Hotel room was spacious and very clean. It had a good size bathroom and shower. The breakfast every morning was delicious and everything was very fresh every day. The hotel attendants were very helpful as to where to go and where to eat close by. Everyone was very helpful that we had contact with at the... More

Easy to walk there from Sants Station (20 mins straight walk with cases). A nice 10 minute stroll to Metro then easy access everywhere. Some sights walkable from hotel (25 mins to Gaudi buildings, Rambla). Metro and buses are cheap, clean and efficient but we preferred to walk to see all the wonderful buildings along the way.

A good base for exploring Barcelona. Not in the crush and noise of the main attractions but an easy 10 minute walk to get to where the action is. Quiet safe area with locals around walking dogs and eating outside in the many good restaurants. 1st class room - GIGANTIC bed, clean, fresh linen, smart decor, excellent bathroom and toiletries.... Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
