This hostel is really a modern masterpice, everything is just like on the photos, rooms are clean, towels provided. Breakfast was good, espacially for its price. The bathrooms also clean, never had a problem with standing in line. The best part is the location, its really close to La Rambla, and to Gaudi buildings. You have the bus stop, bycicle...

A nice and romantic hostel in the heart of Barcelona. Rooms exactly as pictured. Breakfast served in a small room with 4 tables each for 2 persons. Just cereals, toasts, croissants and jam, but what would you expect for that money... Personnel very polite and helpful. Generally a very good price-money situation, I would recommend it as a budget stay...

Great location, very clean and tidy. Helpful staff, they help us find the way to the F1 racing track. Breakfast was very basic but adequate for the price although two mornings running there wasn't enough coffee cups had to use a cereal bowl but hey it add to the unique feel of the place. Great back yard very relaxing. Don't...

Bed & Art hostel is located on the first floor of a large historic building. We rented a private room at street side for a weekend in April. Both nights we both were disturbed by people yelling, skate-boarding and singing. There's a bus stop in front of the hostel as well, so that brings a lot of noise as well....

We are here for 7 nights. Fantastic place reg location - near Pl. Cataluniya, means airport bus (costs 5.9 Euro), Rambla, city center itself, sighstseeing buses, cafes etc). We booked double room. It's a hostel in the old building, so you feel the life of the city when you are inside. Breakfast is poor: bread, jam, butter, milk, cornflakes. But...

In order to enjoy your stay at the Bed & Art, you need to accept two things: 1) it is likely that your room will have bunk beds; and 2) it's a place with common washrooms and showers. If you're okay with that, then the place ends up being a pleasant surprise. Its location is amazing - a block or...

I stayed at the hostel for just under two weeks in February. I was in a 6 person room. The room was spacious and had it's own shower and toilet. The room and bathroom were cleaned daily, as was the entire hostel. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included and, although modest - toast, butter, jam, salsa,...

The location near Las Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya, convenient to North Station, the historic building in which it is located, spacious rooms Inability to use the kitchen, just to get a cup of tea, but the staff were happy to prepare.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
