This is a typical large hostel. Our room (a twin private room) was comfortable enough but it was a little dusty. The bathrooms also did not seem that clean and the shower doors didn't lock. There were good common areas and it's a good place...More
Excellent hostel and friendly stuff. The location is great, in the heart of Barcelona. Easy to get from the Airport even if you haven't booked shuttle. Overall super experience. If i visit Barcelona again i will go back to this hostel for sure. Highly recommended!
I stayed at this hostel and had a couple of issues,
The wifi was broken for 2 days.
The beds were very uncomfortable.
There was a disgusting smell coming from the trash cans near the kitchen the 3 days I was there.

The Hipstel seemed like a pretty standard hostel, and the common areas are very pretty (and so is the biggest shared room which I spent one night in, huge ceilings and lots of light), except that after a week there my laptop was stolen along...More
Very good stay at the Hipstel! Located In the heart of Barcelona, very Clean place, quiet enough, very good price, friendly staff, easy life ;) . will come back again for sure if I' m around!
