We stayed here overnight prior to our cruise. Nice area with many restaurants nearby. Wonderful continental breakfast with a nice selection of breads, fruit, eggs/quiche. They even had cheesecake!
Rooms were clean and tidy; small. Only downside was the uncomfortable bed. Mattress is very firm.
Very good location, between plaza d'espagna and plaza catalunia!
Nice, well equiped rooms!
Breakfast was good and varied, but coffe can be improved!
Staff is allways smiling, willing and helpfull!
Our first stop in a 14 day trip to Europe was great at staying in this hotel near the Gran Via. Close to bus and metro stations. Room was great and had no problems at all. Our stay included breakfast which was great as I...More
Modern hotel with excellent facilities located one street back from the busy Gran Via.
Excellent reception staff, very friendly and helpful. Close to a number of small restaurants and short walk to subway.

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best
exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

You have the option to take a taxi for 30 € aprox (it takes around 20 min). Also the aerobus which costs around 5-6 € one way (it takes around 30 min). 1st stop in Plaza Espanya which is around 6 blocks from us. Or finally the regular bus 46, it costs 2.15 € per person but it is slow, as it has many stops (40 min aprox). It stops in Plaza Espanya also.
