The deco at this hotel was lovely, I asked for a corner room and because of its location its normal people come home late at night. What is not is the key system they use for the doors which took me and my members to open. Due to this key room system I got waken up at 4 times during...

Dear Emma, Thank you very much for your feedback. We are sorry to read that your Pulitzer experience was not as good as it should have been. Honestly, it is the first time a guest tells us our key system is noisy and disturb. In order to avoid more inconvenience in the future I would appreciate if you can contact...

Central location and fairly quiet. Staff friendly and very helpful. Rooms rather small and oddly furnished with no desk or dressing table at which to write but a large rather useless cupboard. Breakfast adequate.

This hotel is a perfect location. We walked everywhere we wanted to go, most major attractions, except short cab ride to Sagrada Familia one day. Excellent staff, comfortable nice lobby. The room was just okay, bed very comfortable, but room very dark and noisy, and bathroom needs a deep thorough cleaning.

This is a good option for exploring the city. The design and decor are stylish and understated. Our room looked onto the street, which was noisy, with cleaning trucks working through the night. Bed was comfortable, but was made up of two narrow single beds (which drifted apart!) and pillows were not the best. The room was a strange shape...

Good service, nice hotel, friendly staff only downfall there wasn't a pool. Very close to shops for shopping and restaurants. 15 min ride to the beach. Room was clean and we maintained would stay here again

Stayed for two nights and whilst the staff were generally friendly and very helpful, I couldn't help but feel that the hotel was past it's best. The decor was a little dated and not kept to the best standards of cleanliness and the rooms were smaller than others we have stayed at in Barcelona. On the other hand the location...

Pulitzer Hotels across Europe have a consistent vibe and service level. Pulitzer Barcelona does not disappoint. Its not perfect (some wear and tear starting to show; rooms -- like anywhere else -- are on the small side; breakfast buffet is very good without being great) but it is an excellent place to stay in a near-ideal location for visiting the...

The hotel is in a perfect location to connect with buses, walk, or meet tours. The Pulitzer front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The Lobby Bar is a great spot to relax with a drink or a cappucinno. Our room was very clean and seemed like it was recently renovated. (2nd floor) Only minus we note is that...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
