Great location is the saving grace of the hotel, which was pretty average on the whole. Everything is basic, for example the highlight of the breakfast is warm croissants. The waitress at breakfast was absolutely horrible and easily the worst part of the hotel - she was rude, argumentative and just horrid! Other than that the staff were ok, again...

2 Parking places are close by, about EUR20/night The room stinked and only after using airconditioner for a while it became normal There is no view from a window (at least for rooms 126, 226, 326 and 426) - all you see is a wall

Very nice and spacious room, friendly staff and great location at the heart of the city in the Bari gothic neighborhood. 3 minutes walk to the nearest metro station and 5 minutes walk to Barcelonetta. The only negative thing was that there was no refrigerator in the room.

Fantastic location in the centre of Barcelona. This hotel is only a few seconds walk from the atmospheric Place de Reial in the Gothic quarter of the city. Lots of great restaurants and bars nearby and only a very short walk to La Rambla. Very close to metro stations Drassanes and Liceu. We stayed here for 4 nights and I...

I had last minute booking, I booked it via Agoda, I was on the flight and check on google maps, it shows the hotel located near Placa Rieal, so after checking on Google Maps, and saw some pictures on Agoda, I booked it right away, coz they said this hotel usually full. I am quite lucky to get a room...

We stayed in this hotel with another couple for three nights as part of a birthday celebration. It is situated close to la Rambla in a narrow street which is packed with bars and restaurants. It can be noisy at night but there are rooms away from "Carrer dels Escudellers" (the great way) As well as being a perfect location...

The room is small but nice and clean. The location is some what good and bad at the same time. It's close to the main attractions but also right next to the bars which means you will hear loud noises through the night which should not be that much of the problem if you can close the window , but...

Stayed here for one night post cruise. The good thing was the location. We caught the cruise shuttle from the port then it was a just a 5 minute walk to the hotel in a side Road off The Ramblas. It looked poor from the outside with the frontage sporting cracked glass that looked like it had been kicked in....

Excellent value for money, just off Ramblas so very central for everything. 2 great restaurants opposite the hotel. You are in a very busy city so expect some street noise, or don't bother staying in the heart of it. This hotel has a well earned 3 stars. A very spacious and comfy room, very modern style clean and un cluttered....

First of all this is a very nice hotel! The decor is modern, the rooms are big (considering it's central location), the place is clean and the safe are friendly! However the location can be problematic. During the day it's located in the heart of old Barcelona, authentic little streets filled with food and shops. At night however it is...

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
