This is a cheap hotel in a great location. my room was clean, on suite with a TV and free Wi-Fi. Room was compact, but I only use hotels as a Base, metro station just minutes away. Staff are polite, 24 hours reception. Room safe was €1.00 per day plus €10.00 refundable deposit. Perfect Base for sightseeing. If you go...

It was very clean, near to Las Ramblas and has 24 hours working reception and they are helpful and nice The room was small and the furniture is somehow poor, however I see the hotel value for money. Also the safe box has surcharge which wasn't written while booking it. Breakfast was for 6 Euros and its very ordinary and...

I worry sometimes I am overly positive and forgiving in reviewing hotels and restaurants. That said, I can't say much good about this property other than the location is good. It advertises parking, but when we arrived we were told the parking was not available. It advertises air conditioning, but it doesn't work in our room, and when we asked...

I've been here with my family for one week on July 2016. The hall is really clean, where you can also breakfast for 6€. The room where I stayed was small for three persons, but comfortable anyway. The bad thing is, you can almost listen all the noises from the walls. The good thing is, bathroom is clean (even if...

Room was small but otherwise fine, the bed was very comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was excellent, with a very good shower, and always plenty of hot water. Everything was clean, and the cleaner came in every day. The hotel is very central, only five minutes walk from a Metro station, and 10 to 15 minutes from the main street, Las...

The hotel is not expensive and suitable for budget travellers. However, it is very basic hotel and very noisy. We could hear everything (!) through walls and the room smelled from cigarettes (impossible to air the room). On another note, the hotel staff was friendly and welcoming!

Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
